we had voodoo snow at our wedding, it was a hit. Everyone loved it and staff was great!

My coworker and I brought our 16year old autistic client in there before going to cosmo and we are very dissatisfied in this establishment. Our client was excited for the gummies and the worker refused to let him have more, we would have been happy to pay for more. So he did get fixated and tried to grab the gummies himself, he did not actually grab the food. I ended up paying $16 dollars for a maybe $5 dollar snow cone. I couldn’t ask or dispute it as I was trying to attend to my coworker and client at the same time. I’m unsure why this man thought the need to charge us so much, I feel like we intentionally got scammed due to the fact that our client was autistic and started to act up. We will not be taking him back here.

Cheap and tastes great and very nice employees with a skate shop right next to it

My Experience at Voodoo Sno Today

I want to share something that happened to me today at Voodoo Sno. I understand this may have been an isolated experience, but it deeply hurt me, and I feel the need to speak on it.

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with Voodoo Sno for years. As someone with autism, it’s a hyperfixation for me during the warm months—I look forward to it every year. Today was supposed to be my first time getting Voodoo Sno this season, and I was so excited. But instead of enjoying my favorite treat, I left feeling hurt, uncomfortable, and unwelcome.

When I arrived, my phone was dead, so I sat in my car for a few minutes to let it charge before going in to order. Within minutes, two employees came outside and started watching me. They tried to be subtle, but I noticed. After a few more minutes of them eyeing me, one of them finally came up and asked what I was doing there.

What other reason could I have been visibly watched for? I wasn’t causing any trouble. I wasn’t blocking anything. I was just sitting in my car, waiting. And yet, I was questioned about why I was in the lot—as if I didn’t belong there.

He tried to play it off like he was just checking to see if he needed to make a snow cone, but if that were true, why was I being watched so closely before he even came over? Why did he keep looking over at me every chance he got? The whole situation made me feel like I was being treated with suspicion for simply existing in that space.

This was the first bad experience I’ve ever had with them, and I can’t put into words how disappointing it is—especially considering how much I love their snow cones and how much I’ve supported them. But after today, I won’t be going back.

I’m hurt. I’m sad. My day feels ruined when it was supposed to be a happy moment for me. I just wanted to share my experience. This really ruined how I view Voodoo Sno…especially since I didn’t do anything but wait for my phone to charge…so I COULD make a purchase. 😭
