Great experience and high quality products at quite the value. Highly recommend the tasting but also great variety of cocktails with seasonal menu to boot.
Was in town to pick up a boat and visited the great folks at 1832! Incredibly fun environment, great people and fun times! I will definitely visit again!
A great, locally sourced distillery!!! The bourbon and rum are the best. The owners are great people. My uncle was in a nearby nursing home and my wife and I visited when we were in Concordia. Highly recommended!!! Great people, Great spirits!!!
The owners, John and Ryan, are great hosts! Down-to-earth explanations with some quality bourbons and rum. The smoke and fire is worth a special trip. But bring home the wheat bourbon.
We stayed on their site as part of Harvest Host. Very quiet and clean.
We did a tasting, of course, I'm not a whiskey drinker but my husband is. I prefer Rum.
The white rum is amazing. We bought a bottle of whiskey and rum and wish we had bought more.
I'm looking forward to when they can take online orders.
Please visit them if you are in the area.
We had such a nice time when we stopped here today. We took advantage of the tasting and learned about each of the offerings. Nick was very informative, and we had a great conversation with him and another couple who were close friends to him.
It is a stop you should definitely make!!
Good spirits! I am a bourbon/whiskey person and theirs is good. However, I was really impressed with the rum! A fledgling distillery and seem to be doing it right. Highly recommend!
A must stop! Excellent service, great story and product.
The owner was charming and welcoming. She shared the story of the distillery and her husband and friends path to making the distillery a reality, very personable!
The smoke and fire was hands down the best. The way the profile changed when mixed, great goodness!! Excited to add this to our spirit cabinet! Thank you for a great experience!
Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time.

Fantastic experience. My daughter and I stopped by on Saturday, got a great tour, had some great cocktails, and even better conversation. Love this place and you will too. Genuine, wonderful people making the American dream come true.

This place gives you the welcome to my home take your shoes off and enjoy yourself friendly service. They have a lot of great choices and a very great price. I highly recommend this place.
Traveling home from Kansas to Indiana today we came across this distillery and decided to stop in. It was a great decision on our part! One of the owners did our tasting and explained their history and their spirits. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable. The wheat whiskey might be the best wheat whiskey I have had, and I have tried many. The spiced rum and the barrel aged rum out also good as was their regular bourbon. Everything about 1832 is a 5 star in my books. We will be back!’
We happened to have concert ticket to George Strait concert in KS. Saw billboard for 1832 distillery… it is one of our hobbies to visit distilleries. Wow. So surprised. QUALITY product. Stop if you get the chance!
Driving home and saw a billboard. Decided to stop by. Nick showed us the facility and let us taste the goods. I loved his passion for what he does. I loved the products as well. The chile spiced rum is something to write home about. I'm imagining using it in food. Nick is a Marine as well so we had a great conversation about our military experience. Please, please, please, if you're in the area, stop at this distillery. I plan on stopping in again when we drive through.Support veterans, especially those with a great product. Thanks Nick!
Fantastic charm of a small town distillery defying the odds of small town America. The charm of the owners (partially veteran owned/ founded) as well as the passion they have of the craft made for one of the best experiences I've had whilst on my cross country road trip. Also the cocktails were amazing! You can really taste their passion and knowledge in each sip. It's also really inspiring to know that they farm and grow their own ingredients. it really is "soil to sip." 10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants to support a local business and loves to drink!
