We found this to be a delightfully charming, and quaint country dining experience. The food is perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, from the cup of ginger butternut squash soup, with homemade breads and garden fresh salad, to one of six wonderful entrees. Had no room for dessert, but hopefully will be able to try the blackberry cobbler next time!

Absolutely worth the hour drive from Kansas City! Delicious food in a unique space: an old (disused) chicken hatchery with very friendly service. Bring your own alcoholic beverage. On Peacock Road with lots of peacocks around keeping an eye on things.

My wife and I are always looking for " one of a kind" places to dine. It's hard to do in this world of chain restaurants, you have to really research and sometimes, just get lucky. That's what happened to us here, we did some investigating and just really got lucky. This place is a gem and the whole experience was to notch. If you like rustic, gourmet food, and animals. You have the perfect trifecta here. We will be back, hopefully many times. Exceeded my expectations in every way.

Girlfriends night out at The Dancing Bear Cafe last Friday evening. We enjoyed a fabulous meal. Delicious meals everyone loved in cozy dining room. We had to take dessert home. Katie, Maclyn and Mallie make an awesome team! After dinner, we strolled the grassy paths around the farm as the sun was setting. A beautiful, peaceful ending to a perfect day! Thank you ladies!
