Absolutely worth the hour drive from Kansas City! Delicious food in a unique space: an old (disused) chicken hatchery with very friendly service. Bring your own alcoholic beverage. On Peacock Road with lots of peacocks around keeping an eye on things.
This place is quaint and fun. It's not fancy it's a very old building that has been converted into a small restaurant. You will Drive and think you're lost. The restaurant is on a farm nestled between corn fields and is not visible from the gravel road. The chef and her family serve on Friday and Saturday nights. The menu offers a dish for almost everyone and you are better served to order in advance because they make everything to order. This review was a girls...
Thank you for a great evening, meal and visit! Yes, the polenta was great and red hot shrimp were everything I had heard. My sons are unabashed foodies too! Again my sincere appreciation for a wonderful time.
