Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. A group of us moms joined the waiting list, but we were told that because we were a group of six, they couldn’t accommodate us right away. While we understand large groups can be challenging, the lack of communication made things worse. We were finally seated around 10:57, but the waitress didn’t even approach us until 11:00. By that time, we were told we couldn’t order breakfast—despite that being the only reason we came here in the first place.

To make matters worse, one of the waitresses was incredibly snobby, which left a bad taste in our mouths. While the rest of the staff was polite, it didn’t make up for the poor service overall. Lastly, they failed to disclose until the very end that they don’t accept cash, which was both inconvenient and frustrating.

This visit was a complete letdown, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone. Communication and customer service need serious improvement.

I recently visited this establishment with some friends and, although we were very excited to try something new, the experience we had was not the best. We joined the waiting list online and waited outside for 40 minutes before we got a table when it was 40 degrees outside. Sometime before we got our table two new parties came in and got their tables ahead of us. When we asked the manager why this happened she said they were smaller parties (4 instead of 6) and they were easier to accommodate. When we finally went inside I could not believe that since all their tables are two people table and they could have easily put together 3 tables before then to accommodate customers that had been waiting for 40 minutes in the cold weather.

On top of that, we get our table at 10:57 and they stop serving breakfast at 11 am. The only reason we came to this place was to have breakfast. The server we asked about giving us a chance to still order breakfast was rude and not very understanding. Unfortunately I do not think we will be coming back to this place.

My group of friends were here just yesterday and we unfortunately didn’t have a good experience. We were very excited to visit the restaurant, we planned on it for a couple of weeks and decided that yesterday was the day since we were having a celebration. We joined the wishlist at 10:15 am and didn’t get a table until 10:56 am, the wait was outside because the place is too small so we were out in the cold, we noticed a heater on one of the corners that they don’t seem to use - weird since they were also offering “patio seating”. The wait on the app said 15-25 minutes which we thought was perfect and reasonable, when we hit the 40 minute mark I went inside and asked why we saw other parties that had just arrived being seated and we were still waiting, the manager told me that they were smaller parties and “easier” to sit she also said quote “we are a small facility as you can see and don’t have much space to sit a party like yours” - we were only 6 people. Then we are finally seated, received our menus at 11:00 and I rapidly call the waiter since on their menu they only serve breakfast until 11am and my pregnant friend was very hungry for their French toast and the waiter very rudely replied “no, we are very strict with that policy, our chef doesn’t like food contamination so we won’t be able to serve anything like pancakes or French toasts”, we explained that it was 11 o clock that we were sure they could make an exception but NO! The manager came over and said the chef already had started placing chicken on the grill and wouldn’t risk contamination - this all seems very reasonable and we would totally understand if we would have seen anyone else waiting for their food, the table that was seated before us got their breakfast, yes, they got French toast and nobody was seated after us so no one was waiting on chicken.
The food was ok, I personally liked the Monte Cristo and my friends like their plates, just wish the service will come in hand with how the plates look and taste.
When we received the check the waiter said “we have included an 18% tip since you are a larger party” - which was never mentioned at the beginning or it’s on the menu, so yeah we felt like this was just them making it up.
As you can imagine we are never coming back to this place, wish them luck and hope they can get better at service.

Horrible customer service. Told us it would take 15 minutes. And then proceeded to seat other people ahead of us. Then said it could take up to 25 minutes. With 3 tables open, she then said these are reserved for people that reserved online but not presented there. Place is crowded with limited seating. Ordered an overpriced cinnamon roll while waiting which was cold and dry. Never coming back here again. OVER-RATED.

A must visit cafe! They have amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. The head chef and manger make sure you are taken care of and treated like family. The employees are always friendly and courteous. Great place for a girls day out or for the family! Beautifully decorated in the heart of Cottleville!

Tried to visit for breakfast but the staff was rude and didn't even try to help us get a table. The patio was all set up and then we were told that it was closed. Don't set up the umbrellas and chairs if it's not open. This was a joke and we'll never come back.

Acted like they didn’t want customers.

Service poor not accommodating and not apologetic when they couldn’t seat us for 45 minutes. We stood waiting for a table for a long time before anyone acknowledged us. Felt like they were relieved when we said I guess we’ll go somewhere else. Small business should not be rude and bougie.

Not accommodating. Local businesses should be friendly and inviting, not rude and bougie.

My fiancé brought me for the vibes and now we come for the food! Chef Alicia’s biscuits and house made jam are the BEST! We visit twice a month from south county and our meal is always worth the drive.

I give them an A+ on the concept, but a D- on the execution. Worst breakfast I ever had. Won't be back.

I was there on a cold sunny day. First I was seated in a front table by the window. The sun was shining right in my eyes - there was no shade to pull down. We asked to move to a different table. The second table did not have the sun problem but each time someone would come in or leave we were hit with a blast of cold air. In addition it’s very noisy so it was difficult to have a conversation. The food and service was fine but considering the atmosphere I won’t go back unless it’s a warmer day. And I’ll be sure not to sit by the window!
