I’ve said this for years but I’ll say it again, Upshot Coffee has the best coffee and service in the greater St. Louis area! Honestly, haven’t had much success finding better outside of St. Louis either. The staff and owners are always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere at all locations is wonderful as well. Cannot say enough good things about Upshot!

Love this coffee shop! The egg sandwich was recommended and delicious- that aioli is a perfect accompaniment to the egg, melty cheese and Canadian ham. The coffee and chai were served hot and beautiful. My brown sugar vanilla coffee was bold but smooth. Flavors are perfectly balanced for the ultimate coffee indulgence. The chai has a unique balance of spices that make it a memorable morning pick-up. We will definitely keep this shop on our list of places to find again when we are in the area.

I haven’t even taken a sip of my coffee and I feel totally ripped off. I just had to pay $5 dollars to park for 5 min to pick up a coffee. I always try to find local places rather than going to big chain stores. But having to spend $60/hr to park in the middle of the suburbs! Absolutely ridiculous. I will never be back!!!

Clean, aesthetic shop with delicious coffee! The employees were very friendly and helpful. Parking is a little difficult to navigate if you don’t want to pay $5 for up close parking, but I was able to find a spot with relative ease.

Had a great light roast on batch brew, unlike all the chains with burnt dark roast buried in sugar. The cold brew was good, too. Didn't try anything else, but I'll definitely be going back. Their parking situation sucks though.

This hometown gem never misses a beat. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a vibe that’s effortlessly cool and welcoming, making every visit feel personal.

Love Upshot! Workers are friendly, coffee is great, and vibes are immaculate. Their brown sugar cinnamon latte is the best I’ve had. Great place to come and work!

Not great. Posting a sign saying the customer needs to bus their own table AND asking for a tip at checkout — is ballzy. If I’m doing Upshot’s job shouldn’t I get the tip? It also sends a message that the customer clearly does NOT come first. To add insult to injury. The bus trays were full. Is the customer also responsible for emptying them?
Also the bus trays are segregated so the customer also has to figure out which item goes where!
Maybe Upshot management should have a how to video on how the customer can do Upshot’s job!
The waffle thing - also bad, it’s a third of a waffle buried under canned peaches and canned whipped cream. And this grandiose coffee shop charges for parking, making it the only pay to park coffee shop west of the river.

I went to this coffee shop, and as soon as I enter the shop, I saw this handsome looking Barista welcoming me with a warm smile which just made my day. He was super helpful, and his coffee art was next level. I would definitely go back just to see him again.

We’ve frequented this Upshot location for the past 8 years since we moved to the area. We enjoy that there is a nice coffee shop with some gluten free items nearby. There is seating inside and outside. Usually quite busy, but most customers are quiet and not yelling. There is another newer coffee shop across the street that offers more food items and drink selection; however, it’s too loud in that space.
