“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.”

“Gioia’s Winghaven is our go to for sandwiches! Always get the order correct, always timely service, always wonderful customer service, always delicious! The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. You’ve raised the bar so much, now everyone else is a disappointment.”

“We visited Oats & Honey yesterday and my husband and I both agreed we had the best lattes in our life! We had the chicken and waffles and burrito sunrise and it was all so delicious. “It was a truly spectacular experience from start to finish. While the ambiance is beautiful and the food consistently outstanding, what truly made our evening was our server, Simona. Simona was the definition of professionalism and personalized care. She greeted us with a warm, genuine smile and was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu and the excellent wine list. Her recommendations were spot-on! What impressed us most was Simona's attention to detail. Our water glasses were always full, courses were timed perfectly. It's this level of thoughtful service that elevates a great meal into a truly memorable event. Simona went above and beyond to ensure we felt like VIPs. We can't recommend Il Bel Lago enough. “This location has always done a great job at being consistent and accurate with my orders. Picklemans is a solid sandwich chain, they have a lot of sub sandwiches to pick from. I personally love their Italian beef with spicy gardenia peppers. They have a fantastic bread that’s soft and delicious. They also have great peppers here and you can get a jar of them too. My wife really loves their meatball and she just won’t try anything else. I have also tried their buffalo chicken sub and well anything else that’s spicy and love it all. We also very much enjoyed their pizza. The service here is usually fast and efficient and well everything hits here. Also the service is generally polite and friendly. The location itself is a decent size, they have space to dine in and plenty of parking in their shopping center.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pictured below is the Gonzo calzone- Salami, dates, spinach, garlic herb cheese, mozzarella, mascarpone-ricotta blend, and garlic oil with garlic butter on the side. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! We also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites. The Magic Carpet Ride is also a must try if you're into mushrooms.”

There are better breakfast places out there. That said, FW is a solid participant in the sit-down breakfast/brunch market and does make pretty consistent food across all of their locations that I've visited with this one being no exception.

Had breakfast with the kid the other day. She ordered the Eggs Benedict which showed up on ciabatta instead of English muffins. I had the fruit crepes with yogurt and granola which are no longer on the menu but can be whipped-up if you ask nicely. I asked nicely as I appreciate the illusion of eating healthily.

For some reason, the food auction followed by the drop & run has become incredibly popular in restaurants like FW these days. Personally, I would prefer that my server deliver our food and pause for a minute to see if there's anything missing or if we have any requests.”

“NO vegetables in Shrimp St. Paul sandwich. Sweet & Sour Shrimp was 1 container of plain white rice, NO vegetables anywhere, the "shrimp" (2/3 plain fried breading & 1/3 shrimp) was NOT cooked in sweet & sour sauce, and packed separately. Quality is now abominable.”

Example, when you order a salad, it comes with not enough dressing & I’m one who does not require or want a lot or extra salad dressing on my salad. But they charge extra for each addition little cup of salad dressing. And after the party I was with left, I ordered takeout for my wife. They said they gave my order to someone in my party, which I know for a fact they did not. When I got home with the order I had to wait for more than twice as long for, they did not put the extra salad dressing I ordered & payed for in my bag. I know I should’ve checked but I trusted them & they failed.”

“Our favorite pizza place for the past few years! I’ve lived in the area for a very long time, but didn’t really even know they existed. We ordered because of a coupon we got in the mail. This has been our go to place for the past several years. I love that they have several different sides, a variety of salads, and their pizzas are delicious. They are always consistent, we’ve never had a bad order from this place.”

“I am on the city side of St. Louis but made the drive out here because my friend was wanted Korean hot dogs. We stuck with the hot dogs and almost tried the chicken wings. The menu is straightforward with different flavors you can mix and match on the outside and inside. I got half cheese and half meat and it was yummy but nothing mind blowing. The inside is clean with a modern Korean vibe and there is actually a lot of seating, probably over thirty spots. Ordering is quick and simple and the staff was really friendly. I saw Koreans hanging out of all age ranges.”

“I had three bad experiences at global quesadilla on 141 and Clayton The first time I went in there they told me they don't accept cash. the second time I went in I got a quesadilla, some chips, and queso. the queso tasted awful. it tasted like warmed up canned cheese or something. I'd buy at the gas station but not the hot stuff in the dispenser that tasted better. And to be honest, there's nothing special about the quesadillas for the ingredients that go into it, the amount of time it takes to make and what they're charging for it. I find it ridiculous. if it's not going to taste good it should be cheap. at that point I'd rather make them at home. my third bad experience is a as a doordasher. after confirming the name of my customer, I proceeded to include my business card. global quesadilla doesn't own that food. that food was paid for by my customer. they have no right to tell me I can't put a business card with the food. the employee proceeds to yell at me multiple times to hand the food back to which I responded no twice and started walking out of the store. he proceeded to follow me out of the store continuing to yell at me and I had to tell him multiple times to back up/go inside / leave me alone. and if he touched me there's going to be a problem I shouldn't be in fear for my physical safety going into any establishment. they were also rude and unprofessional the first day I went in trying to pay with cash. how they've handled themselves multiple times is completely unacceptable. there's a reason why I only ate the food once. if I want Mexican food I'll make it myself or go to Taco Bell or a sit-down Mexican restaurant.”

“I frequently dine out at places like Pei Wei but Pei Wei has become my new favorite. That is due in no small part to Jacinta, one of the employees. They were having a bit of a mid afternoon rush and she was acting as the cashier, server, bus person and just about everything else associated with front of house in a restaurant. She really hustled and took care of everyone efficiently and with a smile. Honestly if I wasn’t retired and was still in business I would try to steal her away. I’ve eaten at Pei Wei for lunch the last three days and I don’t see that trend stopping anytime soon.”

“We came on a very busy day, but after some waiting, which can't be helped, we were given a seat. Our server was friendly, but we didn't see him very much, probably due to it being so busy. The food was great and I was impressed with the portion size. We also had our 14 month old son and they were quick to help bring what he needed. Overall, it was a good experience. I definitely would want to pick a less busy day, but they worked well.”
