Applebee's Grill + Bar

This is now the second time I have gone into this restaurant and NOBODY that worked there greeted us. We stood at the entry for 15 minutes waiting for someone to give us a simple “we will be with you in a minute” or “how many people are in your group” NOTHING SILENCE. Multiple workers including the manager passed by and didn’t utter a word. We walked out!
We understand busy but I can’t understand having no manners in a place of business.

Weird, vibe just to pick up an order on 12/16/2025. When I walked in, the workers just stared at me like why am I there. Horrible customer service and very awkward. The Ballwin location is my favorite.

Olivia was the best! Yeah the food was good as well and I really recommend you try those Cinnabon Swirls or whatever. They are just perfect!

I would like to take time to talk about how uncomfortable my family and I was last night dining inside. The young host seated us with two sets of couples literally side by side next to us. We asked for a booth and there was 4 of us. Why on earth would you put us right next to a couple literally right behind us touching head to head. My husband’s head literally was touching the person behind us. And then the couple next to us looked uncomfortable as well. I would understand if it was just myself and my husband. But Here is the bizarre part, there were so many tables and booths available down from all of us. But I get it the young waitress was lazy to take extra steps to serve and check on her tables, right? We spent $72 and felt extremely uncomfortable that we had to take our food home. Maybe try spacing out your guests a bit especially if it’s a big family and you have 10 more tables available in the same section. Food was also like microwaveable food. This is the last time I will go to Applebees again.

Not impressed. The server Jasmine K was the best part of the meal. Would have given 2 stars if it weren't for her excellent service. It was super busy but she managed to juggle several tables and was accurate with everything.
We had 2 unexpected friends join us and she was very welcoming about it. Still managed to make sure all of our food came out together.

The menu didn't have anything unique or exciting though. Then the food that we ordered was very mid at best. Didn't have super high expectations and they still managed to under deliver.

Prices were OK.

Jasmine was kind, welcoming, and could multi task. She didn't keep us waiting long for anything and communicated well with us.

We came on a very busy day, but after some waiting, which can't be helped, we were given a seat. Our server was friendly, but we didn't see him very much, probably due to it being so busy. The food was great and I was impressed with the portion size. We also had our 14 month old son and they were quick to help bring what he needed. Overall, it was a good experience. I definitely would want to pick a less busy day, but they worked well.

Alex, the bartender, served me with awesome efficiency and humor too. I had the Grilled Cheese cheeseburger-fabulous seasonal sandwich! We love our Applebees especially our smiling Alex!

I wanted to let management know that Aaron C. is a gem and a fine example of friendly and exemplary customer service. So much so that after my few experiences at the restaurant I happened to hear a local radio personality mention him on the air a few days after my last visit. I think it’s always beneficial to mention good customer service and I hope this reaches all the right people so he can be acknowledged. Like Whitney sang, I believe that children are our future, and he’s a shining example of a positive one.

Short staff and the staff couldn't give a damn about serving us. We left after three servers, a bartender, and the host ignored us. Oh well, a Wayback would suit this place instead of a 80s or 90s bar and grill.
