“This this is a classic, old-school, local diner. If it were 1985, it would look the same. That is a great thing for most of the patrons who appreciate the fast service and classic diner specialties. Two things that have become popular since the 80s that I wish they would have adopted, one, some form of egg white omelette because some people can’t eat egg yolks anymore. And second, thing such as like lemon for iced tea or water would be really great. But, their core food menu is what diners expect and they attract a regular local crowd. It’s a benefit to downtown maplewood,
to have a classic old diner that still plays music from a CD jukebox. Also worth mentioning, it appeals to people who like a good deal as the menu still represents reasonable pricing.“

“Grilled ham and cheese was fantastic. Nice thick ham!!! Wife had the chili dog especially liked that it was cut in half and grilled then chili added!!! Our kid devoured the grilled cheese and my mom loved the frito pie!!! Whenever we are in the area we will stop in again!! Staff very accommodating and friendly!!!!“

“I love George's diner on woodson Rd overland mo.its been there forever it was in a movie years ago it's a landmark it's a classic !!!! It's like u go back in time when life was more peacefully.no rush no hurry .just enjoy the old school diner .great fresh food cooked while u Waite u can even watch her make ur food . Check it out u won't be disappointed .I've been living in this area forever thanks for taking me back I time when life was no rush keep up the good work .never change .God bless“

“Old-school Chinese restaurants, some of the staff have limited English, but although the service is not friendly, it is efficient and the restaurant is clean. The menu is loaded with pictures so if you have difficulty deciphering what the food items are, you can take a peek. The appetizers are delicious, including the chicken feet, salt and pepper squid and the entrée sole salt and pepper deep-fried is good too. My only complaint is that if the prices on the menu or not would appear on your bill! My dinner ended up being over $70 with tip is I was charged more than the mini price. I paid the bill this time but if I do go back, I will call them out on it.“
