It was a truly spectacular experience from start to finish. While the ambiance is beautiful and the food consistently outstanding, what truly made our evening was our server, Simona.
Simona was the definition of professionalism and personalized care. She greeted us with a warm, genuine smile and was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu and the excellent wine list. Her recommendations were spot-on!
What impressed us most was Simona's attention to detail. Our water glasses were always full, courses were timed perfectly. It's this level of thoughtful service that elevates a great meal into a truly memorable event.
Simona went above and beyond to ensure we felt like VIPs. We can't recommend Il Bel Lago enough. We will certainly be back!

We had dinner out on the patio, so it was quiet, just the noise from the fountain. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating. He didn't rush us. He recited the especials of the evening like a pro. We split a Caesar salad because he said they were large enough to split. It was not the authentic Caesar salad we are used to. It lacked the tang of the anchovy dressing; it was dry and uninspiring. The bread was a pleasant surprise, it was more like a French baguette, crunchy and well-seasoned with garlic and parmesan. Yummy. My husband had the lasagna, which he said was excellent. Lighter than other lasagnas he's ever had. I had the Chilean seabass. It was perfectly cooked in a very light citrusy sauce. It was accompanied by sauté spinach, broccolini and a small mound of potato puree. It was delicious. Very well proportioned if one is eating other courses too. the presentation was beautiful. We will return. Very good meal.

5 retired former partners in a medical practice had a reunion lunch at Il Bel Lago. We requested a quiet table and we were seated in a private dining alcove which was perfect for us. There was a lunch special of sea bass prepared Sicilian style which was delicious. All of the lunch entrees were tasty and given the elegant but not stuffy setting and fine dining experience, we felt that we received excellent value as well. Our server, Sarah, took great care of us. She delivered friendly, competent, and professional service and especially with our most senior partner, who had some special needs. Highly recommended for any occasion, but certainly for any special occasion where Il Bel Lago goes above and beyond.
