Sauce on the Side offers a great dining experience, known for its delicious and cheesy calzones with a unique sweet dough. The calzones were very tasty! The place is very nice and comfortable! The menu also includes salads and a variety of options to try something new. The Roasty Toasty calzone is especially praised for its flavorful pesto and whole pine nuts. The calzone with eggplant was very very good! They tried the Meet Me in St Louie and the Pesto Chicken. Very tasty and excellent dough and crust. The restaurant is affordable, and the delivery service is efficient and convenient. Diners appreciate the cozy atmosphere and excellent service, making it an excellent choice for a meal. Service was super courteous, fast and accurate. The guy was helpful, made suggestions and was very friendly. Place was clean, including the bathrooms and team looked organized and ready. The food, service and atmosphere were wonderful. The building is just off the highway tucked into a little shopping center. It has indoor and outdoor seating options. They got the monthly special of the Hot Honey Bird and the BBQ Chicken salad (small). Worth the trip! Pictured below is the Gonzo calzone. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! They also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites. The Magic Carpet Ride is also a must try if you're into mushrooms. Excellent all around. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and taste. I had the Meet Me in St Louie and it was amazing. 10 out 10 recommend. Look forward to coming back. Awesome calzone.
