Visited twice, dishes we've had so far: The deep fried red snapper, burrito, chicken empanadas, mole (very good!), tacos, and guacamole. In general, the dishes are tasty. We really enjoyed the red snapper and mole, unique from the typical "mexican" fare in St. Louis (mushy stuff covered in slimy cheese). The mole sauce and tacos are flavorful, the rest of the dishes are well presented, generous portions, and fresh ingredients, maybe a bit on the bland side. The red and green salsas that come with the chips are fresh--the first time we had them, they had more spicy kick and stronger flavor, the second visit they were dialed down--each batch must come out a little different. They make their own margarita sour--it's delicious!! Has a hint of ginger, comes in 2 jar sizes, large and larger! The space is kinda like a diner/neighborhood bar & grille--it's spacious and clean. Highly recommended! I hope they expand their traditional dishes and offer more vegetarian options. Also, some extra hot choices for us spice addicts.
Everything we had was great! And most was unique as well. Authentic and deep menu.

Great food but a little loud for a restaurant so conversation is not always easy. They can make a few things vegan/vegetarian.

Tradicional 314 is a must! The veggie quesadillas were so yummy! The pineapple was a great addition to the delicious, fresh vegetables. Steak tacos were amazing! The salsa was a refreshing change from the usual salsa at other restaurants. Excellent food, wonderful service, great atmosphere. Tradicional 314 is the treat we all deserve.Vegetarian options: The veggie quesadillas are amazing! Large portion to take some home and enjoy for a few days!Parking: Plenty of parking directly in front.

Wanted something new. But this wasn't it. The nachos where baked shredded cheese and a bit dry and disappointing. The langua tasted very dirty. Maybe also have some sort of sauce that isnt spicy for your chips. Not everyone enjoys the burn.
Was referred by a friend, man,..... food was great. Got the Cali boritto, was fire ? ?. Will be back. Really enjoyed the green sauce too. Very friendly service!!!!

Stopped in at this spot in Creve Coure for lunch. I had the enchiladas rojas and a side of beans. The enchiladas were the best dish I've tried in some time. This is definitely the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. The side of beans after the enchiladas was kind of weak. I just can't be a fan of puréed pinto beans. If you're gonna make frijoles refritos you should mash the beans and leave some partially mashed or whole. While not bad they were just average Paling by comparison with the enchiladas.Service was good too. I'll definitely be back!
Our first visit--delicious, fresh food and very friendly staff. We'll be back!
