“Clean and very friendly. The food was excellent, the service was good and the prices were fair for a nice restaurant. Their guacamole was delicious. I had the shredded beef chimichanga I will definitely have that again. My wife had the street tacos she said they were delicious (see images)!
The one thing that was weird is they won't let you go into the bar to wait for a table.“

“Usually this spot about 1-2x a month. The service is quick and friendly. The strawberry margaritas are great!
However the recent health inspection report from 02/26/26 scored them at 14 which is gravely concerning, with many violations I personally cannot overlook when it comes to raw food cross-contamination. Going to have to take a break from coming here until I see their re-inspection score is nearly 100.“

“Top notch food at affordable prices. Seriously, you guys are doing a killer job with the food. It's so delicious, I'm practically addicted. The quality is amazing, and honestly, the prices are a steal for what you get. I've never been disappointed with a meal. Keep up the fantastic work!“

“This is THE Mexican restaurant to visit in DeSoto. The other place in town has the tables too close together and the service is mediocre at best. We found El Lobo Rojo a couple years ago and absolutely love it. The service is spectacular, the food is great, and the dining area is clean.“
