“I am so glad someone re-opened this business in downtown Defiance! Please stop through and check this place out! The good was delicious! I went for the reuben and my companion went for the Frisco burger. It did not disappoint! The sandwiches were delicious and the portions generous. The staff was plenty and helpful with our selections. They upgraded the interior but kept a few of the squirrel decor from before. The outside had lots of seating and we took advantage of the beautiful weather to sit outside. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure they kept the iced tea coming, and checking on us from time to time. I highly recommend this place whether you are driving or even bicycling through. This is very close to the Katy Trail, so you can park your bike and have a sit down.“

“We ate their last night for dinner for the very first time. I must say the food was really good but, our appetizer came out which was the spicy Mac & cheese bites, they were good but cold in the center. I let the waitress know and she apologized. She took them back and bought a freshly made order and they were steaming hot and excellent! I got the double smash burger, which was really good, but it was cooked more like a regular hamburger because on a Smashburger the edges are crispy which adds to the flavor. My hamburger SB edges, even though it was a really good burger! I I would still recommend eating here because the food is really good and the service is excellent! I get it some days,there are off days and maybe that’s what happened. But we will definitely be back!“

“Ran by Sunday for a quick bite on our way home from taking our oldest to college. Surprised with the nice Sunday happy hour! Thinking we were just going to get some fast “fryer” apps…OMG were we wrong. Everything was AMAZING!! The street steak taco was so tender and good, wonton chips and spinach dip was amazing and the bbq sliders that was a whole sandwich cut in half pretty much was delish! Service was also fantastic ! “Poor Richards is a great family restaurant with many food options. The wings are the best in the St. Louis area, hands down. The wait and bar staff and courteous, friendly, and very attentive. Pricing is competitive and there’s an arcade area for the little ones.“
