They were busy this go around and there was this older African American lady cleaning tables and attending to customers! That alone showed me how she cared about the restaurant! “I went in for lunch and was met with a super friendly worker. I wish I would have asked him what his name was, but since I'd never had anything like this before, I had questions that he was more than happy to answer. I ordered to go, and it took all of 5 minutes for them to finish making my gyro. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of filling that came with it too! I'll definitely be recommending this place to others!

I ordered a regular ol' Gyro with a water and after tax it was $16. I couldn't even eat the whole thing in one go so I'll definitely be saying it's worth every penny“

“I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“
