Great bbq, the brisket was tender and well seasoned. Fried green beans were delicious, served with a creamy dipping sauce. Our server, Olivia, was attentive, knowledgeable and cheerful. We look forward to returning soon!!

Sawmill BBQ is located very close to our house, yet we’ve never tried it. Well, we just did the other evening, and LOVED it. Everything was bursting with flavor and the meat was beyond tender. Even the Cheeseburger was above average! All of the sides were devoured in minutes (green beans, fries, creamy coleslaw, garlic bread). Safe to say, we’d totally pick up from Sawmill again - or dine in (they have a large dining room, with live music sometimes I’ve heard!)

A new entry to my personal Top 5 list of *VERY* Hard to Find but Worth the Search restaurants. GPS mapping apps confusion + road construction along eastbound Manchester Road resulted in a first attempt drive-by that led to a U-turn through the West County Center parking lot on the opposite side of I-270, before our second attempt was successful by ignoring mapping instructions & following the Old Des Peres Road signage.

Once we finally arrived @ Sawmill BBQ Pub & Grill, our party of three were treated to an excellent variety of meals: 1/2-rack Rib Platter with sides of steamed broccoli & sweet potato fries; Two Meat BBQ Combo with pulled pork & beef brisket and sides of Corn Nuggets & Baked Beans; and Spinach Salad with Fried Chicken Tenders added. The staff members from hostess station to table service (shout-out to our waitress Kassandra L) was very friendly & attentive, and our food was prepared & delivered surprisingly quickly considering the early weekday lunch crowd size. The acoustics in the dining area seem to be optimized for the pub's Wednesday & Saturday live music events, so table & booth conversations require speaking up & listening intently between bites.

Serving portions were more-than-generous all around. My pulled pork was the juiciest & pleasantly smokiest that I've had in quite some time, and my brisket though slightly overdone was equally flavorful. I wouldn't order the Corn Nuggets again (meh), but the very large sides menu selection offers plenty of options. All other dishes at our table were thoroughly enjoyed, and our leftovers were equally satisfying. We ended our meals with a shared order of Knot Holes for dessert (donut holes with cinnamon & sugar & caramel drizzle) which offered a sweet complement to our savory entrees.

We are all looking forward to another visit to Sawmill BBQ Pub & Grill visit ... now that we know how to get there.

Enjoyed lunch with a friend. The smoked bbq brisket sandwich was tasty. You get a side with it. Thinking it needed a pickle spear or sliced pickles as a condiment. Might try it again.

I had the Hot Italian sandwich which was excellent. Wife had the Cuban Sandwich which had her raving. My side was baked beans, which had meat in them. They were as good as I have ever had. Will go again.
Update:
Ordered the half rack of ribs. They were cooked perfectly, but amazingly bland. Ribs shouldn't need sauce, but these do. They seem to have been oven baked with only a little salt, nothing else. Disappointing, but we will still go back, I just will not get the ribs.

We had a large party, but that was no problem. We asked for some suggestions, and they did not disappoint. I had the.brisket Philly, and it was fire! The spicy steak sandwich was a hit as well. All the sides were great. Service was wonderful. Joe (the owner) really took care of us.
