This place was trash. To begin they had 4 different waitresses take our order and somehow they still messed up everyones order. And when the waitress came to the table to apologize she told us she wasnt even on the clock and thats why our food was messed up cause that makes alot of sense right? I asked for no tomatoes and they took my food to the back and pulled them off and brought the sandwich back out and still had tomatoe juices on the breadThen gave us our bill and we got charged 20 dollars for there being six of us eating and told us its standard when that many people come in to eat which they never told us that to begin with it so we had to pay for the food that we didnt order and forced gratuity on both parties that was there for dinner. Needless to say they didnt get a tip. This place is a joke and dont recommend

I love 1808 Public House. It's great that I live only 4 blocks away lol. Easy parking right out front. Always friendly greetings. Comfortable atmosphere. A bar area with seating in the back of the building. They even have a smoking porch. Food is always delicious.

We were passing through on our way home from Gulf Shores Alabama family vacation. We googled for a place to eat and this place popped up. We took our chances and glad we did. The food was amazing. Our waitress was super sweet, we never had to ask for drink refills and was helpful with what to order. My husband even commented that this was the best meal we had our entire trip. That’s a huge compliment since we had just left from eating some amazing seafood. The only thing I would add is that the kids menu is maybe lacking a little. 1 chicken strip isn’t enough for $6.99. Our kids eat off kids menus everywhere we go but we had to order off the adult menu since 1 strip would not have been enough. That’s the first time I’ve seen a kids chicken strip meal with just one tender. But it was good and we will go back if we ever go back that direction.
