Went to Clancy’s second fried chicken Saturday. It is without a doubt the best chicken I've ever eaten, even displacing a long time St. Louis south city institution. Service was impeccable and so friendly. Cant do better than Clancy’s Pub in Ellisville.

Be careful what you order. They charge for a splash of cranberry in your vodka. $9 for a 12oz IPA. Go to Mulligan's friendly servers, better pours, and you won't be shocked at the bill.

First time going to Clancy’s this afternoon in years. The smash burger and onion rings were fantastic. Our waitress Kathy, was awesome with her service with a smile. I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner!!

Had to park in adjoining business lot due to absence of wheelchair accessible parking, then had to have daughter assist to lift chair over high threshold to get through entry, then had to shuffle back and forth while people came and went...kept getting told someone would seat us soon...after a while someone finally came to let us know she was helping run the hot foot and would eventually get to us. When she finally got to us, we let her know we came because of the ad saying something about partying on the patio and watching the firework show while dining. She said she wasn't sure if we'd be able to see anything from the patio and wasn't sure if anyone was leaving from the patio anytime soon ...and ushered toward a loud space inside the restaurant where sounds were vibrating my head... So my daughter helped me get back through the threshold to leave, and almost as soon as we exited, a few couples left the patio. I have worked in the industry, you know if tickets are handed to tables they're leaving soon. She just wanted us gone....
Posting after reading reply. The hostess let us know she couldn't gauge, but people left as we were leaving. It's easy to gauge exiters by who is asking for their ticket because they are getting ready to pay their bill and leave. I've worked in hospitality before it's not that difficult to anticipate. There are easy and very inexpensive means to make things more accessible like a little rubber mat over the threshold or a few little portable ramps that Amazon has for less than $100. I was not the only person there with mobility issues I saw quite a few canes and people having to hold their companion and assist so I'm not the only one that was affected although I may be the only one willing to verbalize how inconvenient and uncomfortable your setup is
Clancy’s Irish Pub is a place so close to my heart! A local hard-earned family establishment that feels like home. The hard work and amazing determination to continue growing a long line of tradition with their customers in the forefront of their mind is wonderful. Thank you Nick and Olivia. This is my favorite place to relax. The service especially Brandie and Olivia makes me feel at home. The food is amazing. One of my favorites is grandma‘s fried bologna sandwich. The Rubens chicken club and wings are also amazing. The service here is amazing. Everybody who works here is so friendly And so are the other customers! You need to come to Clancy’s Irish pub on old State Road.

Got the Breaded Mushrooms and Onions Rings for a lunch snack this afternoon. Been awhile since I've had them and Clancy's once again did not disappoint! Always recommended to eat at this great place!

The service was excellent, our server knew her job well and was very personable. The food was excellent too except that my son and I both ordered the chicken club and got burnt bacon on our sandwiches, the rest was great! My picky 7 year old loved her kids burger (and it looked delicious). The atmosphere kind of sucked though, it looked run down and dirty. And I know this is a pub, but before 5 pm, it would be great if the loud music didn't cuss. Adult audiences with no kids would probably find this place fine, especially if you're into the bar scene. We sat outside which did make it nicer and slightly less loud (although there are music speakers out there too).
