Been going here since I was in elementary school. Still the classic donut shop to go to.

I'm not happy about leaving this review, Donut Palace serves up some great donuts and normally service is great. This review is in response to an interaction I had with who I suspect is the owner, or manager. I went by this morning to pick up donuts for my daughter's class, I asked if they used peanut oil to fry their donuts. The employee looked at me like I had two heads and replied, "I don't know". When I asked if she could check she replied "no, we don't use peanut toppings, so I don't think we use peanut oil". The whole interaction was awkward, and she was entirely unapologetic about the situation. The reality of this is, it's a liability for your staff to not know things like this, and to be rude to a customer when asked is unacceptable. The correct response is "I don't know, but I will find out for you".

Great place to stop and get some donuts casually! Service is friendly. However they didn't have too many donut options available on the day I came in--I think because I came later in the morning so they probably already sold out of many. I'll try getting back in here earlier in the morning next time!

I'm obsessed with donuts. I've had a lot of great donuts all over this nation of ours. I get donuts everywhere and I travel a lot.I am 100% serious when I say these are my favorite donuts. Get the cinnamon old fashioned!

Great service, there were long lines but they moved quickly at 10 am on a Sunday morning. The cinnamon roll donuts are awesome very large. Original glazed are great too. Plenty of room for several families to eat inside

Very good donuts. Apple fritters are huge. Pricey but worth it.

This place is just not what it used to be.. I've been going here for years and the new owners must have cut some major corners. Not much of a selection and the quality is about the same as QT, you'd be better off going elsewhere. Also found a hair in my donut.

Best donuts I’ve ever had in my life, but if you’re running out of donuts by 9 AM, you NEED to make more.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE Was waiting for a min didn't care cause the lady behind the counter (Ann) ((blonde lady)) seemed friendly. But when it got to my turn she completely ignored me was "arranging" the doughnuts in the cases and waiting till her other coworker was done to take me then Ann promptly helped the lady behind me?! I was super confused so I asked "why was I ignored?" And I was told that Ann was only taking pickups so I was like ok I'll give her the benefit of the doubt but then the person behind me was a walk in and I asked again "why was I ignored?" I was given so real answer and hurried out the door.

Donuts aren't worth the price they are charging.
