I really love this place and the food is great! My pulled pork was so good I liked the Smokiness of the pork tender and soft, tangy slaw and a few jalapeños to add a little hit but not overwhelming the flavor of the meat and I equally enjoyed that crunch of the slaw. The fries had a crispy texture and a fantastic spice I like ketchup with fries but these ones didn't need it. The staff there was so nice and really helpful. Beer selection has great variety and something for everyone. The Patio adds a nice touch to the indoor dining space and would definitely love to come during warm weather to enjoy that. It's nice to have the option to dine outdoors. Thank you all and really looking forward to our next visit.

This is a Great location and outside eating area offering bbq. The turkey wasn't too smoky but I didn't get much avocado. My iced tea was a little watered down. We will come back for some brisket for sure!

First time visiting this place and it was nothing short of incredible. I'd take a picture but we inhaled it. The nachos, crispy rolls and ribs were the highlight of the table. 10 out of 5; will come here regularly.

The food is excellent here. I had the Cuban sandwich with bbq beans, and my husband had the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese. Everything was beyond delicious. And don't sleep on the cornbread; it is incredible. We will be back!

This is literally the best restaurant in west county! I love small, locally owned places and this one is perfect. My small business is close by so we eat here frequently and I have enjoyed everything I've tried. My favorites are the shrimp tacos, with their house made chips n salsa and the brisket burnt ends. The French fries are also a family favorite! The atmosphere is cool and a patio will soon be added out front. Our family can't wait to hang out on the patio for dinner and happy hours!

Saw decent reviews so we ordered rack of ribs and potato salad. Picked up the order and when I returned home - no potato salad or sauce. The ribs were dry. A single piece of corn bread included. We ate a portion of the ribs and tossed 1/2 in the garage. Won't be returning. The restaurant was about 1/4 full on a weekend when I arrived which should have been a sign. Anticipate this restaurant will not survive.

Wanted some appetizers and stopped in here. Had the smoked wings, smoked mushrooms and 4 pack of tacos (brisket and portobello). All the food was great! The smoked wings were the best I've had!

Way better than sugar fire. I liked everything i tried and i cant wait to go back. The prices are a bit high for a lunch, but the quality is well worth it. A friend that doordashes for a living recommend we go there and i had not heard of it. I was blown away! This has to be one of the best, if not the number one, cuban sandwiches ive had in the area.

Our company used JSmugs Gastropit catering for about 65 people. The food was fantastic and made me look like an all-star for choosing this establishment for our company outing. Pulled pork, brisket, chicken, meatballs, wings, Mac n cheese, baked beans, the hill salad- all of it was sensational. The team at Jsmugs was very easy to work with and helpful. The delivery was on time and hot and fresh upon arrival. We'll be ordering from here again!

Located on Manchester, this place is in a small strip mall and the size is definitely smaller than I imagined it would be. The space offers bar seating and a few tables that can accommodate more than 5 followed by several 4 tops and a few 2 tops. Friendly service and food came out fast. Loaded Fries, wow it's huge! Easily can feed 4 people. Flavors were great and the cheese sauce had a nice richness to it along with the crispy fries. Avocado Turkey sando was great! Luved the toasted bread and the aioli had a nice balance. I added bacon to mine! Reason for the 4... the Mac n Cheese. It was just OK. Needed some seasoning and could benefit from a bit more creaminess. Overall a great experience and will definitely visit again.

I didn't realize Gastopit moved from the city to Ballwin. When we placed our order, we drove to their old location and realised they weren't there anymore. The staff was gracious enough to hold our food until we got to their new location eventhough they were closed. We really appreciate their costumer service. I ordered their burnt ends, mac&cheese and a side of corn bread. This is my to-go bbq order, I wasn't as impressed like I was in the past. My burnt end was not really juicy, it was dry and so was my mac&cheese. The corn bread was decent, and I realised we got no butter or maybe they don't normally give butter? I have had positive food experience in the gastropit while they were still stationed in STL. I went with some friends in the past, their bbq was great and so were their drinks. I don't know what happened when I ordered carryout.
