We stopped in for lunch and truly found a diamond in the rough. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were generous—easily enough to feed two people. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
Dianna made the experience even better. She was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. You can tell she really cares about her customers and takes pride in what she does.
If you’re looking for amazing food, great portions, and genuine service, this place is a must-try. We will definitely be back!

Only place around that I know of to get a St Paul. I recommend ordering ahead of time for dinner because they are very busy and can take a while if you walk in to order.

This is the one review you need to read, Golden Wok has some of the best Chinese and Thai food in STL but you need to order ahead of time. If you are starving and think, oh I will call and place a togo order, you will regret it. This is a mom and pop restaurant and the wait during peak times can be over 1.5 hours. Just get it in your brain to order your food that you want for dinner around noon. If you do this you will unlock some of the best food and the friendliest service in town. Their crab Rangoons are some of the best, their food is delicious, and the service is amazing. Just make to early in the day.....

Shhhhh!!! Don't tell anyone. This place has gluten free dishes that actually taste good!!! (I have a Gluten allergy) There is seating but it's more of a take out place. Super friendly small business. Worth every penny! We had Gluten free chicken friend rice, gluten free basil (chicken) fried rice, curry(shrimp) fried rice and gluten free pepper steak. The chicken was not dry like many places often are. Food was flavorful, hot(even after 40min drive home!), and was made with plenty care of keeping us safe! I really am so excited to have a restaurant that makes an effort for great food that tastes good and is safe!
