This is the one review you need to read, Golden Wok has some of the best Chinese and Thai food in STL but you need to order ahead of time. If you are starving and think, oh I will call and place a togo order, you will regret it. This is a mom and pop restaurant and the wait during peak times can be over 1.5 hours. Just get it in your brain to order your food that you want for dinner around noon. If you do this you will unlock some of the best food and the friendliest service...
Portion sizes are good but that doesn't make up for the lack of taste. I saw good reviews for this place and maybe I just got unlucky but the price point and lack of flavor will make me very leary of returning.
The food is good, some of the better Asian food in ellisville, I like eating here but $20 for a single dish is way too much. Sorry guys, your service is great. Just too pricy. If your price drops I'll be back.
