This was a good idea to try…I eat/prepare Mexican food all the time but it’s so refreshing when you can just eat the food in a place that has friendly service authentic recipes and fresh ingredients! However I would like to get outside the box for my Mexican cuisine but I’m not a big meat eater…next time I’ll try the soup and margarita….hoping that I don’t have to drive to Kingsland (Delmar Loop)
Great happy hour and service. A 3 out of 5 star for food because it's just alright. Queso is always too runny and the chips give a store bought mouth feel. The corona familiar special for $8 is a fantastic deal, though!
Oh my gosh this place is amazing! The outdoor seating is super comfortable, the salsa with the chips has kick, the music has energy (a mix of LatAm pop rock and 00s EuroDance), and the service is quick and friendly. Between what I ordered and what I sampled from my party, I can say the grilled chicken, steak, and chorizo are all seasoned to savory perfection.
