We arrived on Thursday. We were met by the new owner. I voiced my concerns about past reviews. She assured me that this was a changed placeI had brought my own cleaning supplies for back up. We were really impressed by the cleanliness of our cabin and the changes that were going on. We really enjoyed spending 5 days there and plan on returning.Rooms: Clean and roomy AC was coldNearby activities: Pavilion with swings on we used every nightNoteworthy details: Would highly recommend. The beds were queen-size new clean and comfy.the bathroom was clean and roomy

Great restaurant and bar. We saw a band called Southern Edge and they were awesome! Great atmosphere in a beautiful location!

This hotel was horrible. At first it seemed rustic and unique but then it went downhill in a hurry. It was a hot sunny day in the 80’s and…….No AC. We tried using it by following the instructions on the card and got an error code: notified management who said they would come fix it BUT…..We were told it would not blow cold air. WHAT?!?!? That’s right. They shut down the AC in every room. When we asked what we could do or if there would be any compensation, the answer was: “No. In the morning you will be glad it’s warm”. This message was in the form of a text.We literally left the door open to the outside well past midnight to bring the temps down. Thick dust and dead bugs covering the TV stand, dirty tissues on the door frame in the bathroom from Lord knows who, hard uncomfortable bed, flat pillows, ratty, old, mismatched towels that looked over 20 years old.It was really sad as the place had potential but it was an epic fail. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Oh yeah, we were in the honeymoon suite.

We were looking forward to a great visit with friends and a nice overnight stay along the Jacks Fork River so booked an evening at Eagles Landing. Initial quick observation to check in before heading out was promising. Rustic and unique. We quickly became concerned when the AC would not turn on and gave an error code. We contacted management who informed us that the AC would not blow cold air. Due to health reasons, we requested another room with AC and were told no rooms had AC as they were programmed that way. Did I mention it was sunny with temperatures in the 80’s and the room was hot? We asked what could be done and the reply was nothing. No discount, no air, nothing. The only comment “You will be glad in the morning you didn’t have AC”. Literally……screen shot of the comment they made below. With no alternative we stayed. We actually left the door to the outside open well past midnight in order to cool the room. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the pillows were flat. The towels were old, worn and Did not match. There were dead bugs and a thick layer of dust on the TV stand and a dirty tissue on the wood framed wall in the bathroom. This place has lots of character and potential but it was an epic fail. We could have lived with one or 2 of those things but all of the issues together made it unacceptable. I attached photos for any interested. It really could be a nice place but the lack of concern or customer service was disappointing. We will not be staying again. All this in the Honeymoon Suite.

We stayed in room #4 on the bottom floor of the motel. It was clean, with the exception of a few cob webs in the corners, the beds were comfortable and if you walk down a ways there is access to the river. That's about the only good thing I can say about our stay. For the price we paid for the room, it was disappointing to not have a mini fridge or a microwave available. But that's what led to this not so good review. The first night we stayed was on a Thursday and there were only a few people staying there. It was quiet and dare I say, peaceful. The second night was a different story. We finally had neighbors and you could hear EVERYTHING from complete conversations to snoring. There was absolutely no sound proofing at all. Also, when people walked down the stairs located about 40 ft from our room, it shook our bed! The building felt as if it leaned a little when you were on the balcony and it really felt unsafe, like the building isn't structurally sound and could break off into the river at some point in the future. The plumbing was bad! The toilet clogged without really any provocation, there was standing water up to your ankles when you showered because the water didn't want to drain and the plumbing made these God awful noises that sounded like construction when the water was running. We saw a for sale sign out in front of the property and we weren't sure if that was for just cabins or four eagles Landing as a whole. Regardless, this place definitely could use some TLC and much needed upgrades. I will not be staying here again.

Very unique hotel overlooking the river. Room was clean, had a fun time partying out on the river during the day, but was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was at night. The outside of the hotel is definitely a run down and there was no wifi but otherwise it was a good experience.

The resort is very old school, VERY old school. Our room was not dirty or smelly, others in our group were not so lucky. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The upstairs deck was a nice place to have our morning coffee, the views were pretty. Harvey's picked us up on the parking lot and we floated back to Eagle's Landing. It was really nice to be 'home' as soon as the float ended.

Perfect accommodations to enjoy the river. Access to the river was very convenient. We stayed in cabin #10 which was roomy and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. The 2 decks facing the river were a great place to hang out and enjoy the views. Our family would definitely come back to Eagle's Landing.

Eagle’s Landing was perfect! We stayed in cabin 4. The back porch overlooked the Jacks Fork river and was only about 500 feet away. The cabin had a shower, kitchenette with fridge and freezer, outdoor grill, back porch, and parking right next to the front door. It was reasonably priced and the location was fantastic.

The weed smell in our room was more than over powering. The office said to spray freshener, no help. The room above us kept smoking until midnight up again at 3:30 am getting high and partying strong.

10/20/21 Eagles Landing was the worst motel I've stayed in in over 50 years. The worst one was $6.00/ night 51 years ago. Facility appears to have been built in the 50's or 60's, which few improvements since. When we got there, we were greeted by a groundhog sitting on the entrance step. The place looked like no one had been there for months. No body else showed up while we were there. However, they had given us the code to the key box for the door, and we went in. The place is "very Rustic", however, amazingly was fairly clean, and the bed wasn't bad. The window HVAC did not work (it was a cool night in the 40's). Took a while to find and figure out that the hot was had been turned off. This would be a great place for a group of Deer Hunters or Beer Party.Due to safety issues, would not take small children to this place.

We have an annual trip with life long friends & we always stay here. Rooms are clean. Our bed this year was terrible though. We will be back but hopefully next time the bed will be replaced in room 12?

Super place to go for your float trip! Right on the water. Fantastic!!!

We loved our time on the river and in the town. Unfortunately, the cabin left much to be desired. Our biggest problem was no phone. We absolutely had no service and there was no phone in the cabin. No wifi and only like 5 channels on the TV. Which really sucks for the whole day that we got rained in. Thankfully we brought cards to play.

This place is gross and dangerous. Carpet on walls with open or broke outlets. These photos were of room 11 second week of June 2021. What a joke for $128/night. We would have left but arrived late and had no options in the area.
