We camped here this Labor day weekend in 2024 with our horses and loved it!! Even though they were full they let us camp primitively and it was wonderful! We were parked close to the creek up on a hill away from others (we used a generator) which suited us fine. A 15 minute ride to town, most shops and restaurants have hitching posts, lots of access to other camps, lots of trail access and river access. We will be there even if it's with the sxs.
My wife and I had dinner here and the food was pretty good! The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent! Seems like a good place to have dinner after a float trip on the Jacks Fork River.

It’s not that I don’t recommend at all. I just believe there is room for improvements. I believe everyone should try it out and give an honest review as well. Candi has been polite and willing to answer all my questions from the beginning. If you have questions reach out to her. She will get back with you. After arriving and trying to figure out what to do to check in, another person in my group told me there wasn’t anyone here checking coggins or health certs. Unfortunately Candi was out of town for my stay. The bathroom/shower house is honestly the cleanest and nicest one I’ve been in at a campground. Super cute too. The round pens were great to have. There’s an ice chest at the front of the shower house and cash dropbox on the side of the shower house for ice payments. The pens were okay except for the hornets that were in the 7th pipe pen that came out and stung a few of us and our animals. Nobody came to take care of the hornets while I was there. Pay attention when booking stalls. Only about half are covered stalls right now. The website states which are not covered. I was in site 8 and it was very unlevel. Website says it can accommodate a 50ft trailer. Wow was that a tight fit with my 38ft trailer. I had to back my trailer against the tree to make sure I fit appropriately and was able to plug in. Bring a big block to put under your jack so when the gravel settles you can still jack your trailer up. Also have wheel chocks and obviously leveling boards as the website states. The website says to have extra extension cord. That means extra cord for your trailer electrical cord. Most all the spots share an electrical box with the neighboring spot, so some trailer cords may not reach if you have to run it under your trailer. The water spigot for the stalls is located between site 8 and 9. So people I didn’t know would shut the water off and then walk through my camp to leave after watering their animals. The guy recommended on the website thats said to deliver wood does not. You have to go pick it up. Overall I did enjoy my stay. Eminence trails never disappoint.
Sites are small, very un-level and not user friendly. Stalls were full of wasps, with boards falling off. Site management was not present to assist in anything. And was un accommodating when paid for stalls were not available. Health certificates were not checked either. I had to find a different camp to house my animals, and was offered to retribution. I will NEVER return!
Fantastic evening ?
You could go to The Wet Spot and save yourself $15 and eat a better steak. I know 19 other people who ate there this weekend and was unsatisfied. Plus they charged my card and extra $50 for no reason. They have no phone number to dispute the mishap.
The staff at this restaurant are amazing. So friendly and accommodating, a pleasure to interact with. The food was good but hopefully the cook can check the temp of the steaks a liiiiiiitle more accurately. I ordered medium and received rare. I powered through it and it was tasty but really wanted to enjoy it medium. I didn't want to bother sending it back, I was on a time crunch and again, it was good. I'd eat here again if the urge for steak pops up while I'm visiting Eminence.

Fantastic food. One person in our party didn’t receive the steak he asked for it, it was replaced immediately. They brought extra appetizers, kept our waters filled. The green beans were amazing also!!

We were here for supper, they had a staff shortage so the poor waitress was kept busy running. Their menu was small, no sandwiches, and they were out of fish. I ordered chicken strips and french fries, and my husband had ham steak with a baked sweet potato. We had salads, and both dinner dishes were huge portions, and very delicious. If you need something just ask, there is shortages for help almost everywhere.
