One of our favorite places during the season. Never been disappointed with the customer service, drinks, or food.
I'd give it 100 starts if possible.

Taste The Occasion is ALWAYS our go to stop for breakfast or brunch! There is something for everyone! I was a huge fan of the chicken salad protein packs. Our boys love the frozen hot chocolate. Our other favorites include homemade oatmeal cream pies, blueberry scones, lemon scones, cinnamon cream cheese danish, strawberry cream cheese danish, and the banana nut bread. Amber and her staff are super friendly and a pleasure to do business with!

Great place to stop and grab some breakfast while in town to float! Really good tasting coffee, decided to try something new and tried Hawaiian Delight which had coconut cold foam and I highly recommend.

This is my favorite spot in town! Amber & her crew are super friendly & welcoming and each time we come down, there are a plethora of breakfast choices! I’m not a coffee person, but I love going every time we’re in town for their chai tea latte’s and picking out a bunch of pastries for my family to try! Now she’s doing dinners too and we just had her Shrimp Boil last night- OMG AMAZING! Don’t even get me started on her cupcakes!!!!! And if you’re hitting the river, stop by & grab a protein box to go! Basically EVERYTHING tastes amazing & Amber & her crew are people you just want to keep supporting! Come every time you’re in town- there’s always something new & delicious in the case!!!

Very small and homey shop. This was a small oasis in the middle of town. I was very happy with the pumpkin pancakes that they made for me! They make them savory and leave the syrup to do the sweetening. Though the pancakes were good enough that I did not really bother with syrup. The pancake special was very reasonable and came with a couple sausage links.

This place is a cute little coffee shop with the best coffee in the area. Black coffee is my drink of choice and the americano and cold brew are both good. The food is good too. I had the apple butter roll and I thought it had good flavor and was fresh.

Stopped here for breakfast to end our weekend trip and it did not disappoint! Their cinnamon rolls are perfection! The chai latte with espresso shot blew starbucks out of the water and even their house blend coffee had great flavor! Thank you for your hospitality even when we made a mess with our coffee and you gladly refilled it for us! :) If you are looking for great coffee with many flavor options and bakery items for breakfast then Taste the Occasion!

Great option for breakfast! I might be a little bias because my friend owns the coffee shop but my husband enjoyed the pastries and the food!

I have been coming to this place for years. It used to be super friendly and good. Unfortunately like most things not anymore. At least not this time. Not at all welcoming. No one says a word to you when they take your order.Question what sizes they had an instead of answering me she just pointed to the chalkboard . I even purchased a piece of pottery, and there was really just no exchange with the person who checked me out. The coffee, which I asked for extra sweet, was really not good at all. It tasted like hot watered down milk. Very disappointing. And be careful when parking just out front of the first two businesses. There is a huge drop off that is not recognizable.
