I went there expecting to have some decent barbecue at a diner and I got to be honest I was sadly disappointed.
To be fair the brisket was good which is what my wife ordered, I ordered the meatloaf dinner for $15 which was microwaved because it was ready in less than 3 minutes, The edges were hard The green beans were passable The mashed potatoes were passable but the gravy was literally a jar brown gravy.
The fries that came with my wife's meal were cooked an old oil to the point where it tasted like it, All in all we paid $41 plus tip for a meal that was very lackluster and it will be the first and last time I ever eat there again.
As far as the staff goes they were very attentive very nice and definitely took our orders accurately.
The decor was great The layout was fine but the food was so disappointing.
Decent price, large portions, very tasty food!!
We waited about 45 minutes to be seated. Waitress took our drink orders and told us we had to wait to order food. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Another 20 before we could order food. By the time our food came we had been there for like 2 hours. I got chicken and waffles and it was the worst waffle I've ever tasted. It was burnt and tasted like fish. The other people I was with thought their food was pretty tasty. Very expensive tho! It was $140 for breakfast for 5 people!
This place is an absolute gem! From the moment my plate hit the table—on a charming little mini cooking sheet, no less—I knew I was in for a treat. Pancakes the size of vinyl records, perfectly fluffy and golden. Eggs and sausage nestled right alongside, no food spillage or awkward overhang—just beautifully balanced breakfast bliss.
And the vibe? Pure 1950s diner magic. Think checkered floors, chrome details, and a jukebox that practically winks at you. It's retro without trying too hard, cozy without feeling cramped.
Put this spot on your “must-try” list, stat. And if you're local? I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes your go-to comfort food haunt. It’s that good.
Every experience is great- We often go here as a family. Its always good and always a hit! We have yet to have anything here we dont like. The pancakes are phenomenal! No matter what we order, we always get a table pancake! Service is consistently good. 10/10
Good service but forgot things. Its 100% a steak n shake decor with a new menu. The food was not impressive tho.
Used to go a ton in pre-2013 and the barbecue just isn't there, great service

Super Smokers St. Louis is an absolute gem and a must-visit for anyone who loves incredible barbecue and a dining experience that feels like home. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you’re greeted by the unmistakable aroma of smoky, slow-cooked perfection. Once you step inside, you’re met with warm smiles, a welcoming atmosphere, and a menu that will make your mouth water before you even place your order.
Of course, the barbecue is top-notch—the kind of smoked meats that make you fall silent as you savor every bite—but let me take a moment to talk about the sides, which are nothing short of legendary. They’re not just a complement to the barbecue—they’re stars in their own right.
Let’s start with the mac and cheese: it’s creamy, cheesy, and cooked to perfection. Every bite is pure comfort food bliss, and it’s impossible to stop at just one serving. Their baked beans are another standout—sweet, smoky, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right kick to balance the richness of the barbecue. The coleslaw is a crisp, refreshing palate cleanser that ties everything together beautifully. And don’t even get me started on the cornbread—it’s moist, buttery, and downright addictive. Every single side dish feels like it’s been crafted with as much love and care as the main event.
As incredible as the food is, what truly makes Super Smokers stand out is the owner, Jeff. He’s the heart and soul of this place, and his passion for barbecue and hospitality shines through in everything he does. Jeff is the kind of owner who doesn’t just run a restaurant—he creates a community. Whether he’s personally greeting guests, sharing his barbecue knowledge, or simply ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen is perfect, Jeff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated.
You can tell Jeff puts his heart into every detail, from the meticulously smoked meats to the perfectly crafted sides to the warm, friendly atmosphere that keeps people coming back time and time again. He’s not just running a restaurant—he’s creating a space where people come together over great food and shared experiences.
Super Smokers St. Louis is more than a barbecue joint—it’s an experience. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite, enjoying a family meal, or introducing out-of-town friends to the magic of St. Louis barbecue, this place delivers every single time. The food is phenomenal, the service is exceptional, and the owner, Jeff, is truly one of a kind.
If you haven’t been to Super Smokers yet, you’re seriously missing out. This place is a true treasure, and I can’t recommend it enough. Do yourself a favor—go hungry, order everything you can, and prepare to be blown away. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Had a strong craving for a large pork steak, I was unable to complete my quest. Although Google (THE NUMBER ONE SEARCH SITE IN THE WORLD) said they were open, when I arrived at the location I found it closed with the doors locked! That totally sucks ass!! Will not be back!!!

BIG GRATEFUL THANKS to Super Smokers BBQ for completely making our family celebration of 15 guests (including 7 children) on December 1st an incredible success! The service was absolutely incredible. I initially spoke with Michael, the week prior to for a heads up and he was so kind and accommodating. Wyatt was so extremely helpful and wonderful upon our arrival and got everything coordinated and precious Jillian and Arianna were absolutely phenomenal servers! The restaurant was decorated "SO cute & festive" for Christmas, they quickly provided seating for the kids and gave them coloring pages and crayons. The food was fabulous and we were served extremely quickly for a group of 15! We were headed to Santa's Magical Kingdom after dinner and due to their efficiency, we stayed on schedule and had a wonderful evening! HIGHLY RECOMMEND and thank you awesone Super Smokers team! ❤️

Food was absolutely terrible. Got the wildcat dip and the meat was most definitely expired. It tasted rotten. Brisket nachos were cold. Spent $80 for 3 lunch meals and left every bit of it sitting on the table. Waitress was nice but we will never spend another dime in this establishment.
