Held a fun 5k.

Went to the wine run (5k). It was a nice event but with the timing of the run we went early to sample the wines. The staff was pleasant but seem very inexperienced with both wine and hospitality work, We had the Charcuterie tray which had a nice summer sausage, very good cheeses and olives. They had a large variety of olives that was a pleasant surprise. The presentation on the tray showed a lack of experience.
The wines were drinkable overall but showed a lack of experience in the wine making process as well. I believe with time and effort that this could be an outstanding establishment. The venue shows a commitment to quality with the decor and ambiance of the place.

Such a wonderful experience! The owner was super sweet and kind and knowledgeable. We purchased some bottles of wine to take wirh us. The cave tour was amazing and the tasting as well

Shriti was an incredible hostess, wine maker, and tour guide! My friends and I enjoyed the private wine tasting and candlelight cave experience today. It was absolutely fabulous! We learned, we laughed, and we created such special memories together. What more could you ask for on a lovely Sunday afternoon?

We had a girls weekend trip to Excelsior Springs and went to the winery for the cave candle light tour and had a wonderful time. Shriti took her time and explained everything in great detail. We thoroughly enjoyed or tour and came home with some wine.

My husband and I came from out of town for the weekend and had a great experience with the wine pairing and tasting menu. The food was delicious and thoughtfully paired. Typically, midwestern wines are poor to mediocre at best—so I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the wine was!!
Loved getting to talk to the owner and hear about how the winery was unique and learn about the history of the property.
All and all was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Would definitely go back!

Recently tried the igloos. I had a great experience. The staff are friendly. Drinks are good and the atmosphere is great. Will be returning.

My husband and I went to the candlelight cave tour. It was amazing! The lady owner gives the tour. She is incredibly knowledgeable as she does EVERYTHING at the winery. The wine is amazing too! I am generally a dry wine drinker. Not only did I love the dry wines but I liked the sweeter wines as well. Fence Stile does not disappoint!!

For my birthday we took the Cave Tour! We are taking it again and bringing friends with us next time. I think I could take the tour 10 times and still learn something new about wine from the tour that I didn't know before! If you are someone that love to learn and are curious about growing, processing and aging. You will LOVE this!

We had such a wonderful evening in this beautiful space.
It was very easy to book the igloo, which is also heated so no matter the weather you stay cozy. We had great service, weren’t rushed to leave, and felt truly welcome.
The pours or tasting were very reasonably priced and a great way to try several varieties. They have a few wines using grapes only this winery has in the entire state. There’s also rum, vodka, and brandy you can try tastings of and I loved the spiced cider, you can have regular or add in a splash of something extra.
I would definitely recommend and we plan to go back again.
