Three Owls is a restaurant that offers a mixed dining experience. The hostess is described as very sweet and kind, and the overall atmosphere is noted as pretty. Guests who stayed at The Elms found the restaurant to be good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a particularly large and delicious "hangover breakfast" that was worth the $28 price tag. The service is also praised as exceptional, with the manager going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The food, especially the perfectly cooked NY Strip, is considered amazing. However, one bottle of wine was underwhelming, though the manager's recommendation of an alternative wine was well-received.
The staff are working extremely hard to manage a variety of needs, and they, along with the chefs, should be commended and tipped well. Dinner here is always delicious, offering seasonal and exciting food in a calm atmosphere, with a great wine selection. While the prices are high, that is part of the experience. Guests noted that the service is generally very good, though some found the experience to be a bit overpriced and the meals somewhat disappointing. For example, one guest mentioned that the salmon dish was decent with a good portion, but the $45 price tag without a side was hard to justify, and the husband's chicken was dry with tasteless mashed potatoes, also costing $40. The small portions left him still hungry afterward.
Breakfast at Three Owls is described as absolutely incredible, with service being on point and food delivered hot and fast. The Sunday brunch was also praised as amazing. However, dinner experiences varied; some guests felt the restaurant was understaffed, leading to less attentive service. Pasta with cream-based sauce was not served warm enough, and bread was dry even with butter. A special cake ordered for a birthday was delivered cold from the refrigerator, which affected its taste. Overall, the restaurant offers a mix of excellent breakfast and brunch, but dinner can sometimes feel awkward and overpriced, with some meals not meeting expectations.
