Guests who stayed at The Elms found the restaurant to be good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a particularly large and delicious "hangover breakfast" that was worth the $28 price tag. The service is also praised as exceptional, with the manager going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The food, especially the perfectly cooked NY Strip, is considered amazing. However, one bottle of wine was underwhelming, though the manager's recommendation of an alternative wine was well-received.
The temporary general manager, Tim, was great at making things right for a customer who did not care for a drink, replacing it and providing a free slice of cake. The salmon dish was amazing, but the Confit chicken portion size was small, especially for the price, and lacked in taste. The Sunday brunch was amazing, but a steak ordered medium rare came out well-done, though the restaurant was very accommodating and comped the customer's dessert.
