I placed a pickup order at Steak 'n Shake using the kiosk. The food was delicious—everything tasted fresh and was well-prepared. However, the wait time was quite long. I received my shake long before the food was ready, and it had started to melt by the time my order was complete. The dining room also looked like it could use a good cleaning. It's clear they are understaffed and doing their best. The food itself was good, but the overall experience was a bit rough.

I used to love steak n shake! Now they're kiosk only and you lose the fun diner aspect of being served. The fries were extremely salty. Like all you could taste was salt. It was literally falling out of the fry container.

Mike was absolutely amazing in the drive thru! I mistakenly misordered something as simple as my drink size, which he didn't even point out and instead offered to replace it with what I wanted. No arguments, no hassle, no blame. .and even offered a fry for MY mistake...

Grade A management material, if not more! Fantastic service and Mike...you should be proud of yourself, if only bringing a smile to 1 family a day, you brought it to mine today.
