Horrible idk wtf this smothered chicken is but it gives store bought gravy yams was good and the only thing I wanted they were out of half the menu at 4. The beans that are a large are half empty with a big peace of meat in them. Bartender is memorable because she has such a problem with another patron. It took her 35 minutes to take my order . All of the servers were ruled, but the only professional one tall lady did help me get my order taken... Won't be back

The food is good. I had the juicy fried chicken breast and my girl had the baked chicken. I had the sides mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. She had greens sweet potatoes. Delicious. We ate outside and that was a good experience. My friend got the same thing to go. It’s really good food and it made me happy.Parking: Safe.
The food was absolutely delicious! Greens were impeccably seasoned and so were the yams (sweet potatoes).

I'm a call-in my order type person and this location appears to not answer phones... I've called on 3 different occasions and no answer. When there, the phone rang off the hook constantly, and no one ever looked at it. Ordering to-go, I stood at the bar for 5 minutes before someone even acknowledged me and was ready to take my order. I gave my order and the lady inputted it and just went back to serving other people. I had to ask her what was total, was I supposed to pay then, and how long was my wait. She told me 5 minutes, which was extremely fast. The menu online or through Google maps is not up to date. Food was good, I ordered Catfish with yams and mac and cheese and then Wings with hot honey and yams and collard greens. So service I wish was better, but you can expect the food to be good.

#soulfoodcooking is going down at @king_of_soul_cafe I needn't any salt or seasonings! My picky kid asked for seconds of their #macaroniandcheese so that was a plus! My fish was crispy and cooked to perfection! the yams were poppin! I hadn't had #koolaid in hellas so their southern punch brought back memories! They were out of a few things, so make sure you get there early on Sundays. It was six of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. My least favorite were the #friedgreentomatoes They were a little too thick for my licking and the batter could have stood to be a little more crispy & seasoned. other than that we will definitely be back to try some different things that weren't available and also weren't on the menu on Sundays. This is definitely a place to stop by and visit! Make sure you tell them #followchi4food sent you!

It was a little tight, but I understand that being it's a start-up business/building. Other than that the food was very good. The atmosphere was enjoyable. It was constantly busy and clean. We had approximately 10 ppl, and everyone said that their food was good. It was my first time, and Looking forward to going again, which includes dining are takeout.

Ms. Tiffany greeted my husband and I with a warm and brilliant smile. We were taken care of from the time we entered the building it felt like home. Tiffany took time to go over the menu offered suggestions and mage sure once we received our food we were satisfied. The atmosphere was like family. The food was excellent. I will most definitely be coming back!

I plan to go back to have a meal myself. I was picking up for a friend and the Atmosphere and the staff was really nice and the food smelled AMAZING.Parking: Parking was fine. However, I think it could get crazy on the weekend. This place looks like it could bring in a crowd and it is next to a couple of other businesses.

The location is great its a small placevery unorganized.. its affordable & the food is okBe prepared for them to be out of itemsVERY long wait timesAlso, they tipped their-self off my debit card (stealing) when I was already was being nice by giving the ONLY PERSON who made sure I was helped & got what i needed a CASH tip for my TO GO order.And the MAC N CHEESE IS HORRIBLE!
