Excellent food and service
$60 wasted! My first and last visit. I had meatloaf which was suspect, no onions,garlic powder, bell pepper or anything to hide weird taste. Beef was mixed with some other type of meat. Gravy from a jar! String. beans salty. Mac and cheese not cheesy my husband had dressing which had too much sage and was gummy and same jarred gravy. Collards were bland. The jack salmon was good. Going to Diners Delight tomorrow!
I’ve gone to King of Soul for breakfast and absolutely love it! Today I decided to try dinner! We’ll I was a little disappointed. While their customers service is on point, the price is right and the food is delicious, today not so much on the taste. The mac & cheese was a bit salty, the yams were not freshly made and while the bake chicken was good there was no pan drippings at all. None for the chicken and none for the yams.
