Be prepared for a ridiculous price on a “special” without knowing it’s $60ish more to add a lobster tail to a filet dish. I doubt it was flown in fresh from South Africa. No lobster is worth $60. Staff was unaccomodating and seemed unhappy. We hadn’t been in years and wondered why it was dead on a Friday night. Food was great other than the risotto, but it took forever and the dining room was ice cold. Don’t forget your parka like I did - in August.
I wouldn’t be writing this, but I left a voicemail the next day after thinking it had to be a mistake. No special is going to be $103 and not mentioned, right? The filets alone were about $35-43 depending on the size. Anyway, nobody called back. I called later and the manager said, “Yeah, that’s market price; the owner is aware of your call,” and I have not heard from them. The whole attitude was kind of lousy. I hope they fix it, get some decent staff who don’t seem burned out and entitled. I’m happy to spend money for a meal, but being tricked into it is offensive.“
