We had lunch at Big Belly Deli today. We shared a Roast Beef on Cheese Garlic Bread (I forget the official name) and it was delicious. House salad was good also, really enjoyed the Balsamic Vinaigrette. Good, quick, friendly service.

I ordered the big belly sandwich. The price was reasonable although sides & drinks are sold separately. My only complaint was that I found some paper inside my sandwich on one side ?. Employees need to pay better attention when preparing. Make sure check it thoroughly.

Food was good but very expensive. I bought a sloppy joe, which was on a small bun, with a pickle, that cost $12.50, with no side included! All sides cost extra.
Meat & vegetables were great! Service was excellent! Problem for me is the bread. 2 sandwiches, 2 times the top bun was so hard I couldn't even bite through the bread. For me, being a signature sandwich shop, this is unacceptable. I am not willing to pay premium prices for a sandwich with inedible bread.

So, I won't give this a one star review; as the service was great and the communication excellent. However, the food was a bit... flavorless.I ordered potato salad with my sandwich and it was good, but the sandwich itself lacked flavor. Presentation was also good... I ordered the STL Cheesesteak, and typically there is a strong flavor combination between the meat, veg, and cheese that really makes this sandwich. It felt like I ordered a seasoning free sandwich.That being said, if the staff were to reconsider the preparation of some menu items; this place could be good. The bread was different, but pretty good. Overall, potential is here but they need some more time to iron it out.
