I just left the place, the rudest waitress I have ever seen, angry with a bad attitude, we asked her if she had a napkin to clean the table, she answered "move to another table, I'm busy" I have been a customer for years and this is the first time that this It happens, I got up and left. I'm not coming back again
Not very good food. Not real mashed potatoes, gravy is nasty.

In from out town on a Sunday and wanted to order ahead to hotel after visiting family, called in go order chicken 4 pieces,catfish plate , turkey melted, ravioli, mushroom stuffed .ravioli too hard ,mushroom watery, but everything else was good maybe in in town again I'll sit in and try if I'm bold enough

My first time visiting. Came with 2 other people who raved about their catfish and drink menu. The bartender that was working there on Sunday Sept 1st around 1 PM, rudely denied that there was a drink menu, but it's right there on the restaurants website. She was unnecessarily rude. I have a feeling this establishment prefers a certain demographic. Don't worry, I won't be back.

Great food! Good variety! Excellent BBQ items. Had BBQ pork steak, BBQ pulled pork platter, BBQ turkey platter. All were great! Side potato salad, mustard base, is also excellent. Server was friendly and patient. She did a good job! Food came out quickly and hot. Restaurant is a bit dark but everything else was great. Good food at fair prices.
Parking: Easy location to find. Busy street nearby but in a center anchored by Schnucks.

Food took an hour to get out. When it did my Ziggy Burger and fries were cold. Everyone else’s food was warm. I’m assuming my burger was fine first and sat for 30+ mins while the rest of the tables food was finishing cooking.

So happy I found out about this place. Tried it yesterday was craving some country fried steak and let me tell you it was amazing ? Large portions and crispy. Happy Mattenglys was closed on Tuesday. My new go to. We all had the country fried steak but will definitely be trying other menu items in the near future ?

It has a couple of items I get regularly. Not much for experimenting. But usually the staff is great only a few times they were a little slow.
