On 12/02/25 = Take out = Chicken was burnt and extremely salty. Their chicken cook should prepare the chicken in accordance with KFC recipe instructions not with what he or she likes...

i didn’t get what I paid for, I ordered crispy chicken and got original, I was very specific on chicken pieces and got what they wanted me to have, and I didn’t get a receipt on my purchase, the service is horrible

Ordered on the app the ‘Taste of KFC 6 piece meal’, drove 10 minutes to get there, waited 10-15 minutes before being told there was a 10 minute wait on chicken. Is what it is rather wait for it fresh anyways, but after getting home realized
1) they gave 5 pieces instead of 6
2) the chicken was NOT fresh at all. It taste like it was refried from yesterday’s batch. The skin was so tough I thought I was pulling pieces of plastic out of my mouth. You can tell when the mashed potatoes and gravy have been sitting for a long time when the gravy soaks into the potatoes. Mac and cheese was dry and barely warm. The only good thing about the meal was the biscuits. Ridiculous making people wait 20-30 minutes for ‘fresh chicken’ to serve bs. 🚮

Pulled into the drive thru for a quick meal. The girl who i could barely understand had to repeat things twice. Pulled up to the pick up window. She gave me change and said pull into a side space and we'll bring it out.
30 minutes later I went inside to see if they'd been robbed or some one had a medical issue or what was the delay. I was told it was shift change so that person couldn't help me. Then they asked for my receipt. Guess what? No receipt. I said 30 minutes and $20 dollars ago I ordered 2-2 piece chicken meals. What do I need to do to get them? That will be 20 minutes since we're waiting on chicken.
Over one hour to get 4 pieces of chicken at the drive through????
And I personally think the girl at shift change that took my order just made off with my cash.

They are all bad but this Florissant location goes out of their way to be extra bad. And they have been this way for many, many years. How do they stay in business?
I decided to give them one more try on 2 recent attempts. Each time the door was locked during business hours. I guess they don't want to see you at the counter but that's probably just as well because the employees there always seem to be not interested on waiting on you anyway.
On my first try, I went to the drive-thru and sat there for 10 minutes and nobody responded so I just drove away.
On the my second try through the drive-thru a week later, they responded and I ordered 3 things but they told me they were out of 2 of them and away I went again.
Why did I try again after many years? Their prices are sky high and the food the last time I actually got some was mediocre with dried out coleslaw, lumpy mashed potatoes and extra greasy chicken in small pieces.
Last century, KFC was a nice place to get food. Those days seem to be gone with the wind.

We first tried to get food a little after 10am. Though online and store windows say it opens at 10, it was no open yet.
We returned at 4:00 (not dinner rush)
Pros: kind, friendly employee
Cons:
- Almost a 30 minute wait. There was no one else in the drive thru line when we arrived. Thankfully, we were on our way home not TO somewhere.
- Speaker was barely audible.
- When we finally received our food we expected it to be freshly made because of the wait, but it was just barely warm. The fries were obviously left under the heating lamp, probably from lunch.
We usually eat chick fill a, but the kids wanted to try something different.
For the price, time, and quality we will stick to chick fil a.

Ordered at 6:30 pulled forward waiting for 30mins for a three-piece chicken meal: ( 4 other people parked right after us waiting also all four of them got their orders just 5 minutes before we did bigger orders even . Seen other people pulling in the lot just left.
Longest I ever waited at a kfc:(
One good thing I can say is the lady that was taking the food out and taking orders was very polite and food was decent. Also I wasn't given a receipt: (

Long drive thru line then had to pull up and wait long for my food then they where out of certain food. Lady in drive thru window was eating. Probably why they are out of food

Terrible service and I had to drive off because they didn't understand that I only wanted chicken by the pieces 4 thighs and 4 drums, original and no sides
One voice to explain to was not enough I had to speak with a man and a woman

What was surprising is they were really bad then ok but they were cooking decent food and now I guess I will wait for a few months when they'll have another team of employees to see what happens next
In the meantime KFC you have a lot of competition for my business so your loss
