This bakery is located near my home. I've been wanting to stop by here for months. Went for the first time yesterday and it didn't disappoint. The staff were very friendly and welcoming! I can't wait to try more things from here! 10/10!!

Made. by Lia is one of my favorite spots! I really like their chocolate chip cookies and the coffee is absolutely delicious. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. I had a rather unique order which they couldn't fulfill, but were quick to give me a referral. It's a must visit!!

When I tell you that a homemade cherry poptart changed my life, I mean it. Good food, great coffee, even better crew of people running the place. Love what's being built in Old Town!

Made by Lia is a must-visit for anyone in the St. Louis area. From the friendly atmosphere to the mouth watering baked goods, it’s truly a North County Gem. I love that everyone feels like family as soon as you walk in the door and they have a little something for everyone! You can grab your goods to go, dine in, or sit outside and it’s a kid friendly atmosphere! Highly recommend! I don’t have enough stars to give!Kid-friendliness: I bring my 6 year old all the time, the staff is so welcoming to her!

A really charming bakery. Reminded me of Magnolia Bakery. The quiche was delicious. The staff was friendly and the shop was spotless.

Made by Lia made my husband & I’s wedding desserts (cakes & donuts). Not only did they look perfect but they were delicious! When thinking about who’s going to make our first baby’s gender reveal cake, of course we came back to Made by Lia. I originally ordered a gender reveal cake and was going to drop off the gender in an envelope to the bakery. This process would take a few days for us to receive our cake. The day we received the envelope, my husband & I were so excited we couldn’t wait a few days. We asked if there was anyway they could make us a small cake/cupcake that day because we couldn’t wait any longer to find out our baby’s gender. The staff was amazing and was able to accommodate our request! They had 1 chocolate cupcake left and filled it with the color of our baby’s gender. We’re so excited they were able to pull this together on such short notice. Thinking our experience couldn’t get any better, the staff gave us the cupcake for FREE!! I can’t say enough good things about Made by Lia Craft Bakery!

I don't know where to start! I've been here about 10x and can't brag enough. I heard of this bakery opening about 4 years ago and was excited to learn that the owner had won a baking competition and desired to use her winnings to open 'Made. By Lia' in Old Town Florissant. Let's start with the coffee: they have many many types of coffee from drip to lattes and their seasonal flavors are unique, and relatable. What do I mean? Sure, there will be a pumpkin option in the fall but expect it to have a little swing. My favorite and first love is the pistachio latte. Wow ... the Matcha also has my heart because it doesn't taste so much like grass. Pastries: my favorite is the hot pocket. Now, they have a Tuscan hot pocket with tomato, feta, egg, and I believe spinach or something. The flavors are powerful and potent. It's not overpowering and allows you to taste the buttery, flaky (yet soft) crunch of the pastry. WHOA! It melts in your mouth while offering savory tones from the Tuscan-inspired pairings inside. Yum, yum, yum! The team there is just as sweet as the Vegan cinnamon sugar donut. They are helpful, and patient and knowledgeable and as quick as they can be, given the hustle and bustle of the crowd itching to place their order! Other items to try: Lemon poppyseed donut, bacon or veggie quiche, any streudels, every beverage, and whatever seasonal item they have. Made. By Lia has done it right. The aesthetic is clean, modern, yet traditional. The NoCo Perk merch (shoutout to Friends) is the cutest trendy nod along with their other items for purchase to represent the bakery on-the-go. Please go, go, GO to this boutique bakery. I beg of you. You will not be disappointed.

Very cute woman owned and operated bakery in Old Florissant. It's welcoming, bright and the staff is friendly. I enjoyed my Java hazelnut coffee and the St. Louis classic, gooey butter cake. I don't get this way very often, so it was a nice impromptu visit on a lovely Saturday morning. I've previously ordered a cake from here a few years back that was very good and beautifully decorated to match my birthday outfit that I'm including in this review as well. Images attached!

My mom and I went into the bakery in early-mid February inquiring about a baby shower cake for mid-March. Initially the employee we talked to was very friendly and helpful. She gave me her card and said to just email some photo ideas of the kind of cake I’m looking for. She also reassured me that I would have plenty of time to get the order in before my baby shower as long as we placed the order within a certain time frame. I did as she suggested and sent the bakery an email, a message through their website, and then a follow-up email because I had not heard anything a few days later. My mom and I then returned to the bakery closer to the end of February (still well within the time frame she gave us) with cash in hand and ready to place an order if they could provide us a few more details on the price, process, decor etc. Instead, we were simply told they would not be able to take anymore orders to be ready by 3/16 (as we were previously told would certainly not be a problem). My mom and I ended up going over to Helfer’s Bakery and ordering the baby shower cake. I was disappointed in the lack of professionalism from this bakery as I had high expectations for them. Helfer’s is mine and my family’s go-to Florissant bakery now.

This place is fantastic. Very clean and smells like Grandma's kitchen. Coffee is excellent. We love the sweet and savory baked goods. You can see everything being made in the back. Kids welcome. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Exceeded expectations! Hosted a small post proposal party. The cake was raspberry and almond, tons of compliments! Also the macaroons and STL bars were beyond delicious. A true food artist.
