Placed our order, had wings come first then a Matt's steak sandwich. We waited for ever for the sandwich. Many tables that ordered after us got their food. I asked the server to check for it. She said it would be out in one minute. About 2 minutes she brings out a rare steak, red in the middle. It was supposed to be well done. The fries were raw. I would have to say it wasn't ordered and only got started when she went into the kitchen. They took it back, and brought it out a few minutes later, the same steak and cold fries. My bill was $35 which I paid and took the steak home to my DOG. I've been going to mattinglys for over 50 years and NEVER sent anything back. I will not be going back and plan on calling the lady that I think is the manager but she wasn't there today.

We eat here occasionally and I'm never disappointed. Plentiful portions at a good price with friendly staff.

Stopped in here again after 10+ years of being away and was severely disappointed. The wings were disgusting, the salad we were served was soft and soggy. The food was not good at all and definitely not what I remember. I will not be coming back.

We stopped at Mat-tingly‘s location in Florissant, MO on 8/31/24 and our experience was that of a McDonald’s!! There were six of us in total and my husband and I waited an extended amount of time for two club sandwiches, while our grown children had almost completed eating their meals.

Our server, simply said, “There’s a new guy in the kitchen”, yet she couldn’t understand what was taking him so long to make our club sandwiches when the hot food had been delivered, and almost completely consumed when our meals finally, my husband’s was wrong but we didn’t mention it to the server because who knows how long he would have had to wait for his food correctly prepared.

Because of her lack of concern, it was reflected in her tip, and when I had requested a receipt, she didn’t thank me, until I thanked her to which she replied. I’m sure she was disappointed, but a tip isn’t a given, having worked in the food industry myself for many years, it’s earned by the service you provide.

I’m also not one to run servers to death however, I’m a firm believer that if a good/great tip is “expected” then you (the server) should be more than mediocre.

Needless to say, we’ll not be returning….

Ordered a Chicken Caseadea and was the worst one I ever had. I even gave my buddy a slice and he said it was awful. The Watrist said said I was out of luck, their policy was no replacement and will not be taken off the bill. Be ware of this place, I would avoid it all together.

I love Mattinglys. It's a nice lil vibe whether you want to eat with the family, friends or alone. You can seat yourself and the menu is not overwhelming. They have a bar in the back and tv's everywhere so u don't miss the game. U can also purchase lottery there. I always get the party melt...trust me on this! It's amazing! U CAN order a side of fries but I like getting the deluxe nachos to share with my table. Everything is always hot and fresh. I haven't had a bad experience yet and have been a few times with as little as 2 people to as many as 10 and same great food and service. They also have a rewards program.
