Our Sunday afternoon hunger led us to So Deity Diner, in Florissant. Their breakfast spread was a pleasant surprise. Eggs were spot-on, biscuits and gravy hit the spot, and the bacon was cooked just right. I also snagged a bite of my partner's chicken and waffles--yum! The chicken was flavorful and crunchy, and the waffle was fluffy yet crispy. Definitely beats other breakfast joints in the area. Can't wait to swing by again for another tasty morning meal! Service was good. Waitress sat us promptly and she was quick bringing water to our table. Ambiance was good, they had a good playlist going. They also have TouchTunes jukebox. It's an older building they are in which makes it not as comfortable but overall they are doing okay with the space they have.

I ABSOLUTELY love this restaurant! The environment was different and refreshing! Went here for breakfast and ended up ordering the flaming out chicken, and it didn't disappoint!! Love spicy food, and the mix of sauces was truly on point! The crunch to the chicken was extremely tasty, which I truly LOVE! The salmon croquettes were crunchy and flavorful, which again i love! Each table came with board games with the smooth sound of old school R&B playing in the background is what I live for! Waitress was extremely professional and very polite. The chef and the lady who was working that day really went out of their way to answer every and any questions my husband and I had and were truly welcoming (thank you for that). My husband is a retired chef from Las Vegas Nevada and a current food critic who is hard to please when it comes to food and presentation, and when he walks away, SATISFIED you know this is the place to be!!

I recently went to this breakfast place a few days ago and found the food to be extremely expensive. After adding the tip, the total bill for two people came close to $70. Additionally, the place had a strong smell of cigarettes, which was quite off-putting considering it is primarily a breakfast spot. The soda we ordered was served with very little ice, mind you menu does not state it’s CANNED soda ($3), and our water was not refilled throughout the meal. Moreover, the chicken and waffles we ordered did not come with whole wings as shown in the pictures; instead, we were served two small chicken strips and one single waffle. Overall, I don't plan on returning to this place. However, I do hope that they are able to sustain their business and keep their doors open.

My husband suggested he wanted to go to Deity’s for his birthday and so I didn’t mind driving there.He couldn’t figure out where he wanted to go but he suggested this diner!We went with our children and I just loved it all!I was bragging to my parents about how I loved it and my sister about how respectful, and polite they were. They have family games you could play while you waited for your food. Everything was delicious and I’m so glad we got to experience the place. The music was hittin’!!! I love love loved it!!!

I called ahead of time to make sure kids were allowed. And off the flip I loved the customer service I was greeted with a good morning. We went a head and came in and customer service was still amazing the food was amazing everything was seasoned well best thing was the salmon balls and spicy

Went for breakfast to give the business a chance to win us over. However, it was a huge mistake! The establishment smelled of cigarettes and I’m not a smoker so that scent bothered me. Our food was lukewarm and not tasty whatsoever. The “cook” was sagging and honestly he could not cook. We were served warm juice (apple and cranberry) in small plastic cups WITHOUT ICE! That was very crazy to me! I’ve never been to a restaurant where our drinks were warm and were not offered ice. The music was loud r&b and gave a “bar” or “happy hour “ type of atmosphere. We def didn’t like that either. Overall, our experience was not a great one and we wish we could redo our morning and went elsewhere. This was a total waste of $50+. We will never go back!
