St Louis Happy Hour Bar & Grille

I have been a long-time customer of St. louis Happy Hour since 2008 but the service I experienced yesterday was very disrespectful on 11/08/2025. I arrived there about 5:15 pm and ordered a steak sandwich and a long Island iced tea because they were out of the Heineken beer. Dion was my server. I sat at a table with a friend after 20 minutes had passed my friend paid her tab and left and I sat nursing my drink i received a call from a friend who wanted some food which I ordered from Dion which was a steak and potatoes no onions and a cheeseburger that was 20 minutes later and still no food, while sitting waiting watching customers come in and out, watching waitresses take orders and take people their food some people coming in 15 and 20 minutes after I have been there I'm looking like wow why is it taking so long for my food to come out just then the people sitting 2 tables from me who arrived about 15 minutes after me received their food which was the same thing I ordered so I asked Dion where is my food she replied I am not the cook 30 seconds later she bought out my food which was cold like it has been sitting for a while so I let her know my food was cold and she got upset and her voice elevated asking me did I want it remade. which now everyone is looking as she id talking " no music is playing " so now everyone is looking our way, so now it's about 6:20pm my friend that I ordered the food for ids standing looking in shock like why she is yelling like that and she wanted to cancel her food. so, I canceled my food, but I paid for all the food to keep the confusion down. Dion then bought the to go food and we left. I patronize at least 5 days a week sometimes twice a day I tip well and always spend nothing less than $50 on average. when it gets to the point that a paying customer is no longer important to the business, or you feel like you don't need their business than it's a problem. Happy Hour is a great establishment, great owners, great waitress, great customer It's like Cheers. I am very disappointed. when your hard-earned money doesn't mean anything and people think that you have to be disrespected and pay them is some different stuff. You know what they say good service goes a long way, but bad service goes further!

I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Happy Hour Bar & Grill. My order was placed at 6:50 PM, and I waited over an hour for food that never came. During that time, I watched multiple customers grow frustrated as the kitchen fell further and further behind. The entire operation felt chaotic, unorganized, and without any sense of urgency or accountability. The lack of structure and leadership in this establishment is glaring. The kitchen’s attention to detail is nonexistent, and the overall operations are completely failing both the customers and the staff. What should have been a quick, simple to-go order turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal that ruined my evening. The only saving grace was my server, who was patient, professional, and genuinely apologetic. You could see her trying to hold everything together while the kitchen continued to crumble under pressure. Her kindness did not go unnoticed. She did everything in her power to make it right, including trying to process a refund for me. But to make matters even worse, there was no manager on-site to handle it. That’s not just unprofessional it’s unacceptable. To have a full restaurant open for business with no management present and a kitchen unable to deliver food for over an hour speaks volumes about how poorly this place is being run. This was not an isolated bad night. This was a clear example of broken operations, poor leadership, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Until these issues are fixed, I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

Went with a group of friends at noon to eat and drink was told if we order food will be waiting a hour or longer til we can eat because of catering orders. Every time I come here it’s something last time was waiting 45 mins for a waiter to come and take our order

I love, love ❤️ this bar! Rick Lewis is the dj and he's over the keroke. The food is very good and the drinks are reasonable! Great crowd and great customer service!

Turkey Ribs are by far my favorite at this place. Big shout out to the chef or chefsss cause my food is always seasoned just right, hot off tht grill & delicious 🔥🔥🔥🔥 what more can I say. The Honey Hot wings 🔥, Margarita wings 🔥🔥🔥, the lamb chops, yea they got those too, tender/ juicy & grilled to perfection. I highly recommend you pull up & try any of the items I've mentioned, this is the spot you be at, THANK ME LATER
