This was my first time eating at sugar fire. I ordered online and decided to pick it up in person. Upon opening the door to the restaurant the person behind the to go order counter looked at me then turned around and went into the back and acted like they were busy doing absolutely nothing. The other five or so people that were in there working were playing on their phones or had blank stares on their face like they were all just inconvenienced by me stepping in to the restaurant. After about 20 seconds of silence I finally said something and you would’ve thought an earthquake happened by the looks on their face. I ordered a full rack of ribs, mac & cheese, baked beans, and a cherry Coke. When I got home I unwrapped the ribs that were wrapped really well. I started with the mac & cheese and it tasted identical to Lee’s Chicken food service truck heat and serve. Bland and overcooked. The baked beans also tasted like food service truck heat and serve with a couple pieces of meat and onion in it. The baked beans also smelled like rubbing alcohol. Next, I took a drink of the cherry Coke. It tasted like it was made with Jack Daniels whiskey in it. Next I tried the regular barbecue sauce packet and it also tasted like rubbing alcohol. Finally the ribs. They tasted like pork ribs with a tiny bit of seasoning added to them. I could not detect a smoke flavor at all which leads me to believe they were cooked using propane. I do not have an issue with this as ribs can be cooked many ways. The ribs were obviously over cooked and adding barbecue sauce helped a little with the flavor but not much. It’s quite obvious this meal was not prepared by a pit master or someone who loves bbq. This was my first experience and my last as I will not be returning.

First time here and it was DELICIOUS!! Staff is wonderful and the brisket is so tender and flavorful. The pulled pork was soft and awesome.

Food was good, price high. My pre paid online order was not ready in time and took an extra 25 minutes. Note: pet friendly they even have treats for them!

The beef brisket was so dry. The baby back ribs appeared to be cooked then Frozen, then sold the next day. The cold slaw was nasty. The macaroni and cheese and the fried tomatoes came from a package that anyone could have bought from a ? store and fixed The service was okay but they were trying to focus on getting someone in to work, the drinks are too damn small one size doesn't fit all. I could go on and on but I advise everyone not to waste their time going to this Sugarfire ? Smokehouse ♨️. I suggest that you go to the other ones, hopefully their food won't need water or extra barbecue sauce ? oh yeah the potato salad was good. It reminded me of my grandmother's potato salad who also put celery in hers. However it was too sweet they did give me a sample of a drink and a food item. I was appreciative of that but very disappointed overall The inside looked junkie and not inviting

Parking: Approximately 15 parking spots

Kid-friendliness: Your children will talk badly about you if you take them to this spot and buy them anything to eat from it. I can't believe I wasted my child money. I had to apologize ? and maybe pay the money back

Wheelchair accessibility: {IDK} I don't recall seeing wheelchair access. I believe I stepped up and stepped down through the doorway and I will not be able to find out because I will not be back at this place again #ijs

First time there and wasn't disappointed! They had run out of the burnt ends, so the waitress Kiesha said since it was our first time to she cook them just for us! Everyone greeted us, took the time to explain things to us and brought the food out to us!

Parking: The food was great, made two meals off it. Handicap parking up front.

Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant

Wheelchair accessibility: Right up front.

My wife wanted a burger from there Thursday night. I pull into the parking lot and 2 young men in hoodies are standing to the left of the building right out front. I think to myself, great rif raf already hanging outside of the business. I go in to order our food. Behind the counter is a kid in sweats and what look to be crocs for shoes. No Sugarfire uniform or markings just his regular street clothes. This kid is apparently running the register. I pay for my food and he says he will bring it out. So I have a seat in the empty dinning area. 1 other customer was there before me already waiting for his order. The 2 individuals outside come inside and walk directly behind the counter. 1 has his hoodie up over his head with some over the ear headphones on. He gets a drink from the container and just stands there drinking it while all 3 talk amongst themselves. The tall kid with no hat or hair net walks over near the food. Mind you all 3 have their sweatpants sagging, underwear showing the entire time I was in the store. The other customers order was ready and packed into the bad and then set at the pick up counter. Instead of the kid that packed the order saying, sir your order is ready. It sat there for 4-5 minutes until he came over and asked if that was his order. The kid who packed it pointed from the other register and went back to his conversation with the other 2. I guess I say all this in hopes that this was a 1 time thing and that there are actually business standards practiced at Sugarfire. If these are the standards in place I don't see it lasting long and will be a here today gone tomorrow, like so many in the past.

My sister and myself placed orders to go over the phone on Sunday! My total was $52.30 I did not leave a tip because I only had $55 and some change on that card! I left and thought nothing of it. To my surprise by Tuesday morning at like 2 a.m. I get an alert that my card amount changed due to a tip being added! At which it was $7.20 added to my total that I did not authorize! I write this review because that is not ok! I am a giving person but this time I didn’t have it to tip, so it was just taking from me! That isn’t good business practice at all! Customers pay attention to your receipts and your bank accounts that is plan and simple sneakiness! I will not return to this restaurant due to this it made my account negative! Just don’t take something from me, that won’t work!

No chicken options. Little bit of a bummer for me. Chicken is my goto when getting BBQ. So j settled for a double cheeseburger. It was good, wish it had leaf lettuc. Tried the staple of any burger, the french fries. They were fine. Dad had pulled pork and baked beans. However he said they didn't have any spice or taste. This is from a recovering smoker. I never trust his opinion on food. The burger is mich better than the other BBQ places and burger joints in Florissant. I'd like to return to try the other sides or get another burger sometime. Or if you get chicken on the menu!

Parking: Limited parking spots available.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have regular tables and chairs. You can push a wheelchair against.
