Food was great, as usual. Food took notably longer to prepare than was told and expected. Costs seemed to have risen since last visit so a little sticker shock, even with discount coupons. Tips encouraged by the establishment at the register and tip jar. The charge for extra condiments (soy sauce, red pepper, sweet and sour sauce) was unexpected and unexpectedly pricey. Cashier not at all personable. Inadequate seating in waiting area.

Please don’t waste your money on the rice it has the worst taste and after taste. I could not eat anything of it! The rice is disgusting I have never ever tasted anything worse. I would rather eat a bowl of dirt. This is no exaggeration THIS RICE IS DISGUSTING ?

I used to go here back in the day. They are not what they used to be. The St. Paul was overcooked, and the rice was fried pretty hard. The lo mien was slimy and the veggies in it were not cut properly, the sizing was very inconsistent. How do you give someone a Shrimp lo mien with mostly veggies in it? To top it all off, they are over priced as well. I can go to the city and spend 20 dollars less for the same amount of food, and it'll taste way better.The lady at the front was nice though.

If I could give a half star, I would. My Grandson had an incredibly unpleasant experience at Rice House that I feel compelled to share. He visited the establishment and was wrongly accused of stealing a $2.00 soda due to a cashier error in ringing up his purchase. Not only did the owner, Kenny, handle the situation unprofessionally, but he also took it to an entirely unacceptable level. After my Grandson paid $5 instead of $2 to settle the issue, Kenny proceeded to harass him through text and phone calls, threatening to post his personal credit card information, telephone number, and name on various social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and WorldStar. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also crosses the line into discrimination and racism. Kenny used profanity towards my Grandson and even threatened to contact his employer to have him removed from his job. As a young African American man, he found this level of mistreatment completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise against supporting this business. The discriminatory and threatening behavior he experienced is inexcusable, and no one should be subjected to such treatment. I will never set foot in Rice House again and encourage others to think twice before supporting an establishment that condones such actions.
This was my 1st time trying this location...I ended up NOT ordering my over $50 worth of food!! The person answering the phone was rude from the beginning...she sounded like I was bothering her or something...after repeating my card number to her 6 times...I just hung up the phone...way to leave a 1st impression ?

I’m disappointed this use to be my go to spot and I moved out of the area. I was in the area and wanted lunch, I ordered deluxe steamed rice with bean sprouts and broccoli, extra duck juice. When I got home I had fried rice and there was hardly any meat. I had 2 shrimp, in the whole box. I’m upset I paid $15 and I feel like I wasted my money cause it’s not what I wanted and I stay 30 mins away now. Safe to say I won’t be back any time soon.
