Just moved to the area and wanted to check out the local diners. The diner I was headed to was closed down, and I happen to pass by the wagon wheel where I stopped for breakfast and it was amazing. Had the chicken fried steak with a biscuit and gravy. You can tell it was homemade gravy and not from a package. The hashbrowns actually had flavor. My friend had an omelette and it was wonderful as well. If you’re passing through stop on in stop.

I finally decided to try this restaurant, and I can say is the service is excellent! The food was good. I enjoyed the omelet but didn't care for the hash browns. My husband's chicken Fried Steak was a little fatty but my son loved his omelet and also the fried mushrooms.

Went here after the country cafe in taneyville shut down. They took everything from their menu and changed names. Me and my grandma went here for lunch, we ordered the Grilled cheese deluxe and the fried chicken dinner with blackberry cobbler for dessert. The breading on the sandwich was burnt on both sides and the bacon was hard and tasted like it was submerged in salt. The chicken dinner didn't look appetizing, the mash potatoes were a gray compared to a white and the chicken was cooked perfectly, the breading is what needs work. The blackberry cobbler didn't taste like blackberries at all and they had seeds in the berries. The service was great, wouldn't recommend the food howeverWheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair ramp on one side of the building

1/20/24. We purposefully came here from Springfield. This is our first time. I've gotta say, it was totally worth the trip. The place is homey, and nice. The service was OUTSTANDING! The food was just perfect. I could go on a lot longer, but I don't feel the need. If you're close, or not, go here. You'll be happy you did.
