The Terrace at French Village

Have been going here on a semi regular basis the last couple of years. It is a beautiful hillside winery. The food is always excellent.

While the view was nice and the live music was okay, everyone coming here should know this is not a real winery. Accoeding to the server, we learned that none of the grapes from this property actually make it into any of the wine sold here. They resell wine made near Columbia and also mass market wine from Oregon. See my photo of Iris wine. Even the server said the mass market wine was better than the local stuff.
Food was borderline disgusting. Why am I paying $20 for a meat and cheese tray with Ritz crackers and sausage from Walmart? Why am I paying $19 for flatbread from Aldi? Why am I eating pretzel bites from a microwave? It was really underwhelming. This place was a miss, unfortunately. It has the potential to be so much more.

Beautiful views. Overpriced food. Even though alcohol is served there is no free water and you cannot bring in your own water bottle--i find that a very frustrating policy. I don't want to buy water for $2.50

We hosted a baby shower in The Werner Room in May and everything about our experience was outstanding. The catering was excellent (we chose the street taco bar) and what made the day even better was the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely host another event at The Terrace. The beautiful views and rainbow at the end of our day was a bonus!

Super nice winery. The views were beautiful. The wines and drinks were excellent. The service was exceptional. The kitchen was closed when we arrived but we will be back again soon to sample what they have to offer.

Lots of covered and open seating options. Great live music. The food is exceptional. Bathrooms clean and several located throughout the property. Some of the best wine in Missouri with a wide variety of options!

Just enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal at the Terrace celebrating with my special Valentine. The food was as good as you’d find at any fine dining restaurant in St. Louis - kudos to the chef! The service and atmosphere were both excellent. If you haven’t dined here yet, what are you waiting for? Be sure to check out the beautiful sunsets from their patio.

Lovely ambiance and service. Feel like you are transported to the French countryside. Absolutely stunning at sunset!

We had a blast!!!

Music was playong today (Saturday). The group was Crossfire STL and they were definitely entertaining. The atmosphere at The Terrace was great and a beautiful.

What a wonderful place to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The owners are so nice and accommodating. Beautiful view of rolling hills. Highly recommended for any type of gathering.
