Uncle Julio's Frontenac Reviews
Went in at lunch time, there were maybe 5 tables with people dining in. Immediately ordered our drinks and food at the same time bc we only had an hour before we had to be somewhere. I asked about 25 min later if it was almost ready, the waitress said just a couple min. 20 more minutes go by and the manager comes out and tells me they had a big table before me, just a couple more min. I informed him that the waitress shouldn’t have told us it was coming out then. He said he...read full review
Food is horrible management sucks. This has been such disappointment and a waste of money. Go anywhere else.! I did end up getting sick from this place and let me say the manager is horrible. And the server rude, doesn’t care what so ever! The food has no flavor, small portion sizes. The food tastes as if you had Covid…

Uncle Julio's Frontenac is a fantastic Mexican restaurant known for its authentic Mexican cuisine. The margaritas are praised for their great taste, and the service is consistently excellent. Customers have highlighted the outstanding service, with servers providing personalized attention. The food was pretty good, with the tableside guac noted as really good and fresh, and the chocolate piñata was worth getting. The quest salmon was real good. However, the service was insanely slow and could use an improvement, as the restaurant was short staffed. Some food, like the fajitas, was not sizzling and arrived only warm, and the guacamole could be bland. The fresh, flavorful food and the welcoming atmosphere make Uncle Julio's Frontenac a must-visit destination.
