Corner cafe serves much more than Aloha Shack’s Hawaiian food, its country breakfasts are available til 2pm, the tenderloin draws people from all over the Midwest to taste it and sign the TENDERLOIN TASTERS guestbook! Walked in sat down there wasn't but 6 people in there and waited for 25 mins to finally get someone to take our order then sat there for another 20 mins still no food or drink finally just got up and walked out , lousy service and wouldn't recommend going

Great place featuring American food plus Hawaiian specialties. The service is superb & the food delicious. The tenderloins are some of the best around & you can order it as a sandwich or Southern style with gravy. Can't wait to go back & try more menu items. PS. Only look @ current reviews. The Corner Cafe in Gallatin, Missouri was a great surprise. We showed up just as they were pulling an old awning out of the front window, and it was fun to see the character of the building in action. The cafe sits in the downtown area and has a rustic, country feel that fits the town perfectly.
The service was super friendly. Everyone treated us like they were genuinely glad we were there, and they were very accommodating. The chef is incredible. I wish more people knew how good the food is at this place.
We came in for breakfast and ordered several different dishes for our family to share. Every single one of them was delicious. This is the kind of small town cafe that deserves more attention. We will definitely be back.

Great choice for breakfast all day or Hawaiian food for lunch or dinner. Pork tenderloin cutlets were ginormous and fastasticly tasty. Wife had the terayki chicken and kalua pork, both were delicous! The new desserts were tasty and great way to top off the meal. Super friendly staff and a growing menu make this a place we WILL be coming back to very soon.

I went in today to get teriyaki chicken and rice, it seems their food is so amazing that they were all out of rice. I was looking at the menu to figure out what I should try when I saw katsu chicken on the menu. I decided to see if they were willing to make a sandwich with the katsu chicken for me, they did, and that katsu chicken sandwich was incredibly delicious. The food and the service are both amazing.
New Menu - October 2025 See photos. This restaurant just changed hands and the Hawaiian Lunch is a new favorite. Ate about a third before I took the picture. Generous portion of smoked kulau Pig, some of the best rice I've had anywhere, and a tasty macaroni salad. They were fine when I asked for extra teriyaki sauce which is their own recipe and very good. I saw quite a few customers ordering a hearty breakfast that they were pleased with. They also offer teriyaki chicken and pulled pork sandwiches. They serve enough food to fill you up. A new treasure in Gallatin and we will be repeat customers. Update: It's Saturday morning around 9 am and the restaurant is packed to the brim. Pancakes are terrific and more than you can eat! The hash browns were also excellent.
