Today was my granddaughter and her friends graduation party at the clubhouse there at Lake Viking, and it was extremely hot inside. The air conditioning upstairs was obviously not working. There were no fans anywhere to be found to use. There was a nice-looking pool that was not being used. That would have been really enjoyable. I hope nobody else has to go through that experience. It was not enjoyable, and I feel sorry for my granddaughter and her friend. The cup cakes, cookies and candy that they put so much work in to was melting from the heat. There were people who didn't want to stay because of the extreme heat. There should be something do about this. I heat that this the day our Graduates will have to remember!

Attended a wedding here. Lots of windows for views of the lake. Hard to find any signs to the clubhouse, several guests got lost and were almost late with GPS instructing them to other beach across the lake. The venue has had a remodel and is a neutral color with exposed ceiling beams. The bride was happy with the venue. The catering was delicious! We were sitting nere the DJ so not my favorite spot to talk.
Parking: Small parking lot near the playground. A much larger lot is in front and shared with the office and other buildings nearby.

Lake Viking is a private lake and the clubhouse is a centrally located facility with two levels that can host lake events. It can also be rented for private events by lake property owner. The playground is nearby, restrooms are accessible, and adequate parking is available. There is a nice view of the lake, plenty of room for outdoor activities and there are also picnic/shelter options near the lake dock and small beach area. I have been to indoor and outdoor events hosted by the lake and also private parties and it has a good rental hall appeal about it.
