Great date night spot or perfect for a night with friends. The servers are super helpful, guide you through the menu, and provide recommendations. Food was easy 10/10 and a fun thing to do together. We got two soup bases and the meat, veggie, and mushroom combos. It came with so much variety and so much food. They do let you take leftovers to go. Lights are a little bright on the inside just fyi

This place used to be good, but seems to have staffing issues now. The last time I went with my group of friends, we ended up not getting food we ordered (eggs, pho noodles, appetizers were late, ran out of rice somehow). The waitress forgot a drink and took 10 minutes or so to get it. The first few times I went there, we had our broth prepared within a few minutes, but during the last couple of visits it took way too long to bring out our broth. I understand there was only 1 or 2 waitresses working, but the restaurant was only half capacity, and I cannot excuse just straight up not receiving some of the items we ordered. The service was not this bad until a couple of months ago.

Our first time there we are both soup & Korean BBQ. The second time we decided to try Pho, didn't go so well but we chucked it to us not knowing how to properly order Pho. This 3rd time we went for both soup and Korean BBQ again, but there was a change in service and how they make business. With most Korean BBQ you are given side dishes that come with the combo meat no matter if you get they small combo or large combo. I. The large combo you get more side dishes than small but you get the typical. This time around we decided to get a small meat combo of Korean BBQ. We got the meat and started grilling and got the small soup as well but did not get anything else. At this point we were halfway done with our meats and because there was only one server for the whole restaurant it was hard to get her attention. When we did we finally asked if we were to get any side dishes and she said it was all "a lé carte". We decided to ask at least for white rice as we needed something to fill us up as the meat was not going to cut it only. We were left dissatisfied, the first time we went all was included when we ordered the only a lé carte was the drinks. I hope they fix that because that might be the main issue with their lack of customers now as it was pretty empty during lunch hour on a Sunday. The first and second time we had to wait because lack of tables to sit. This time as stated before lots of table but lack of staff to help. Would like to go back but with better service and combo actually including dishes. For the moment we will be looking for new Korean BBQ restaurants.

Hot pot is a unique style of eating out in America, at least by my experience, and this place does it well. A constant flow of new and somewhat exotic plates of food designed to cook quickly in the boiler pot on the table is both tasty and filling. The wait staff helps the uninitiated, like me, choose types and amounts of food as the large serving plates can overwhelm your stomach. The sauce bar is Asian-exotic and adds much to the taste. Get your chop stick skills ready as it was a terrific, tasty, and healthy experience. Oh, and the egg rolls are tasty with a unique texture that make them a must try.

I highly recommend this restaurant!
I normally don’t like crab ragoon and I loveeee it here, so creamy and perfect.
We got Tom yum, mushroom and house special broth. They’re all sooo good but I wouldn’t the house special broth for people that can’t handle spicy food. You must try the Mushroom and Tom yum broth tho. Trust me!
It took a bit to finally get our food even the restaurant was not crowded at all, they were just 3 other tables beside us.
For 4 of us, the bill came out to be $115 (not including tips). It’s a little bit pricey ( for me ☺️) but it so worths it! We were sooo full!

Went looking for vegan options, and past reviews seemed a bit mixed on the ease of eating vegan. We asked as soon as we walked in about their ability to accommodate a vegan diet, and the waitress said as long as they know up front, they can. She told us all the broths except herbal (dairy) could be made vegan, but some of the broths were meat names (e.g., beef broth), so I'd verify that. We went with something that seemed pretty safe - mushroom. From there, you pick your own ingredients and cook them yourself in the hotpot, so I felt much more comfortable than other omni restaurants since we could see everything going into the broth and ensure no cross-contamination. The flavor was really good and the sauce bar allows for further seasoning and customizing to taste. We enjoyed the food and the experience and would definitely go back.
Vegetarian options: Make sure you alert the staff upon arrival of your dietary restrictions, particularly for the broth and noodles. The rest should be pretty obvious.

Easily the tastiest HotPot establishment in the Kansas and Missouri metro! The broths are delicious and the selection of meats, veggies, and noodles are great!
The servers and management go above and beyond with helping guests feel comfortable and satisfied. They are very patient and informative while guiding new guests, that have not tried the hotpot experience before, through the whole process.
This establishment is best enjoyed with a group of friends, family, or coworkers; however, is also very inviting for solo hotpot enthusiasts.
For those wanting to try hotpot for the first time and aren't sure where to start, definitely start here!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! Umi, our waitress was TERRIBLE! She was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I asked for a new waitress and that didn’t happen. The atmosphere was not inviting, the food was terrible and had NO flavor, and just overall disappointing. Very lack luster and dirty. Don’t recommend!

As a gluten-free vegetarian, most restaurants don't seem to want my business. Lotus hot pot grill had so many choices that I can't wait to come at and try more.

Great experience. Recommend for anyone wanting to try! We had a good time. Do recommend bringing a group or people who can eat! It is pricey and can get costly, but they give you a lot. Spicy broth is actually spicy. So be warned!

So, this is a somewhat unique dining experience. It is a cook your own hot pot at the table restaurant, and generally everything is in large shareable portions for the table - you don't just order yourself a soup, unless you want a lot of leftovers.
You choose a broth type, seasoning, and size. They only have a chicken or cow based broth by default, what they offer are a variety of seasonings that they add.
Then they have a small broth (big enough to probably share), a medium, big enough to share between 3 maybe 4 people without leftovers, I assume a large is huge.
You order whatever sets of individual ingredients you want. IE tofu, baby bok choy, lotus root, and shiitake mushrooms - each ingredient is something like 4-6 dollars plus the base cost of the broth size.
You can also order a pre-bundled selection of different item types with an *asterisk next to them, i.e. 5 different kinds of tofu for $12, or 5 different types of veggies for $12, etcetera. The more economical choice, if you want a lot of ingredients.
They bring out your assorted ingredients along with some small bowls and eating utensils, then bring out a large pot of broth and set it on a burner at the table to start towards a boil.
They have a large center burner for medium-large hot pots, and 4 small burners at each corner for smaller hot pots.
Most of the ingredients take about five minutes to cook.
You can go to the seasoning bar and grab some cilantro, green onion, hoisin sauce, garlic, or whatever you like.
The base broth is decent, but pretty simple ... It is largely up to you to season it how you like.
Add your veggies and ingredients in the order you want, or just dump them all and cook them until you think they are ready ... And enjoy.
Vegetarian options: *Caution. Very misleading menu for veg options.
So, this place sort of has veg friendly offerings, which are quite tasty, but aren't actually on the menu!!! The menu is very misleading without knowledgeable guidance and acknowledgement from the staff.
They appear to have a whole smattering of "broths" listed on their menu, they really only have two - chicken and cow based broths, what they inaccurately list as broths are actually just flavorings that they add to their existing broths!
Their miso "broth" and mushroom "broth" aren't what they appear and are not made from either - just flavored to taste like them. Off the menu, directly, you can't order a strictly vegetarian AKA vegan option. It requires an unlisted special request.
That said, if you ask them, they said they are able to make a vegetable broth on the fly, but it isn't a standard option that they keep available or list. To do so, she reiterated that you must clearly write "Vegan" in large print just above the list of broth flavorings and I would definitely talk to them to confirm that they can do it when you actually visit. It sounds like the broth seasonings are largely vegan.
They use a paper menu for you to write your order on and check the options that you want. (Kind of like a sushi place.)
Once you are sure you have a vegan broth, they have a good section of mushrooms, vegetables, and noodles.
Most of the noodles I would assume to be vegan (they weren't sure), obviously not the egg noodles. Pretty certain on the rice and sweet potato noodles, and probably most of the others.
They have a sauce and seasoning bar to further flavor your dish. Obviously the fish and oyster sauces are not vegan. They didn't know about the other toppings, like the fermented soy.
I am reasonably sure about the sesame paste (tahini), soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, chives, and cilantro, and th

Best hot pot I've had in a long time! The Tom Yum broth was fantastic. Glad that they had the big split pot so we could try two broths and easily cook for our kids. Generous portions and a great atmosphere. I plan on taking everyone I know back with me.
