Arguably the best pho in the Northland. Brilliant idea for them to choose different size of bowls ranging from small medium to large. I got the sliced steak pho. you can choose what noodles you want in your pho. They have pho noodles, Fresh noodles or egg noodles. Broth was very fresh tasting and a perfect color of pho broth. Vegetables were fresh And the portion of steak that I got was incredible. Also ordered the eggrolls, which were phenomenal and you get four good size rolls. Guarantee you will not be disappointed with this place. Atmosphere is great you can easily talk to someone plenty of seats and plenty of parking.

Let the food speak for itself. Everything was great, also a little footnote, the place is a consistent 76°.

Best pho in KC - even better than the ones in Seattle.

Back in 2019, I went and tried every pho (about 4-5) in the same strip mall where Pho Tuoi is. Never went back to the other ones. I’ve also tried other pho before within the greater KC area but nothing quite compares to Pho Tuoi. I’ve brought friends and recommended this place to so many.

Moved to Seattle a few years ago and have tried many pho places there. Pho Tuoi has always been the standard by which those pho that we tried were measured against. A very few has come close but has never beaten Pho Tuoi. I feel that it has the best fat brisket and tendon options, and the broth itself is quite fantastic. Every time we visit KC, we always make a point to go back at least once.

I love going here! It’s one of the best Vietnamese places in KC. Their pho and spring rolls are outstanding. I love going for lunch because you can choose the size of your pho! (: they are always super nice and prompt with service too. Love!!

We ordered a small Phở Tươi ($14) and Bún Bò Buế ($16). Both bowls were so aromatic. The broth was rich in beef bone flavor. The price was decent. We paid about $38 for two bowls and a Vietnamese coffee. We are from St. Louis. Vietnamese food there isn’t as good as here, but far more expensive 😅. This restaurant will be my go to place when I move here!!!

I often wish I lived down south where all the best Asian restaurants are located. However, northland has Pho Tuoi, which is definitely in contention for best Vietnamese restaurant in Kansas City. You won’t be disappointed.

2025 edit: not “in contention” anymore, Pho Tuoi is easily the best pho in KC 💯. Get the fresh noodles!

Atmosphere and food are great except that the service depends on the hours and days that small portions are noticeable. You come in beging of the day on the weekends portions are smaller than the rest of the week days. So, I believed it depends on the server to service. Adjustment should be taking care of ASAP.

I started with the Sweet Potato and Shrimp fries. I had envisioned like a loaded fry. Instead it was sliced sweet potatoes, breaded in tempura (which I wouldn't normally mind) 3 shrimp. It looked like it had all just been dropped in a fryer together because it came out one giant unseasoned gluey clump. I also ordered the brisket pho, the broth was the most bland broth I've experienced in pho and the brisket was super DRY. how does meat in broth remain dry??? For this experience I paid nearly $30 with tip. I'm new to town and trying to find my "pho place" this definitely isn't it.
