Just happened to see this place while I was driving by and the store next door was playing some Blind Faith. How could I not stop? The guy there said they were going to change my life and I don't know if I can't get another deli sub anywhere in the North again. It has an old school East Coast feel and the sandys to match. I'm told everything here is good and now I'm going to have to find out. Will be back and would recommend. Shop Local! Oh, I would have posted a pic but it didn't last long enough. Was great the next day hot, per the guy who sold it to me. Grazie!

Oh boy this little hidden gem is the absolute best! I've been to a few delis in New York and Chicago, and this is the first one I've found north of the river that reminisces on those experiences.Everything is tasty and fresh, most of which is made in-house and generously (which might be an understatement) portioned.I personally recommend the Ruben when available, but recently I've become a fan of the muffaletta (get it spicy, you won't regret it.)Get ready to eat like a king! (Or realize you need to share or save some for later to save you from a delicious food coma!)
I moved away from New York 10 years ago, and this place is as close to home as I’ve ever been. Any time I come anywhere close to KC, this will be a must stop. I would be here every day if I could!

Love this place! Great family. So happy to hear they are expanding. I like it simple. I make at least a couple amazing sandwiches out of the #71. Their sausage is so good I like a mild with cheese and a little mustard. Fancier have to go with a #13. Oh and the tortellini soup. You can also buy sausage to cook at home and more. Just go there. There's a lot of great stuff to choose from!

As an Italian who was born and raised there for 30 years I always am on the lookout for a good Italian store, I still have to find one here in KS.Their prices are insanely high but for good products I am willing to spend money.As I walked in there nothing had a price tag on and the person that served us had no clue of the products that were sold there.When I saw that they called themselves the Italian sausage company my expectation were high, bought a pack of them and tried them.There is nothing Italian about their sausage, taste just like the sausage I can buy at Dillons and for a lower price.
You'll want to make sure you're hungry when you go to get a sandwich here; every time we've eaten here we've left stuffed and/or with leftovers.Everything is fresh, flavorful and a lot of it appears to be in house made.Super-super friendly employees behind the counter and when there was a small (tiny really) issue with our order today the owner gave us a piece of creme brûlée cheesecake just to make up for not having hot sausage ready immediately.Don't pass by this just because from the outside it doesn't look like a whole lot. You'll be cheating yourself!

Have been eating our way across the sandwich menu. #7 is huge but the perfect ratio of everything! House made sausages are really good also. There is always someone friendly running the counter ready to answer questions, make suggestions and give a sample.
I’ve heard so many great things about this place. We finally tried it out. The pasta salad and caprese salad was awesome! I ordered the chicken spedini and loved it. We will definitely be going
